Chidambaram v/s Commissioner

Posted on 19 January 2014 by admin

An income tax commissioner has waged war against the finance minister. It is believed that Mr. Commissioner has sent a report to his department saying Chidambaram’s son Karthik Chidambaram has acquired money through illegal means. He has requested the senior officers in his department to probe the matter thoroughly. When news of this reached Chidambaram, he claimed Mr. Commissioner was a psycho. The commissioner did not take kindly to the comment at all and got a “normal” certificate from AIIMS and attached it to the report. The thing didn’t stop there– two cases of sexual molestation were slapped against the commissioner. When proceedings against the commissioner started, he went CAT and the women refused to being sexually molested in any way. When Mr Commissioner realised that fighting the government is not that easy, he went knocking on the doors of Ram Jethmalani and Jethmalani  has written a letter to Chidambaram in his capacity as a senior advocate, and asked for answer in relation to discrepancies in Karthik’s accounts. But a prominent industrialist of the country has pulled up his socks and wants to sort things out between Chidambaram and Ram Jethmalani, considering he is considered to be close to both of them. Now Mr Commissioner doesn’t know where to go.

How did Kiran agree?

BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi was mighty upset by the way the Aam Aadmi Party was announcing new people joining the party and grabbing headlines. So he got in touch with the country’s biggest industrialist who also happens to be his friend and asked for help, and said that he wants those who were a part of the Anna movement to join the BJP so that a message reaches the masses. This industrial house’s founder’s wife has close associations with Kiran Bedi. Sources reveal that the Page 3 wife of this industrialist runs a school and has Kiran Bedi among the board of directors. She gets a honorarium of about Rs 24 lakh for the same and it believed that it is on the behest of this industrialist that Kiran Bedi has now started to praise NaMo. It is also being said that she might contest the coming elections from Delhi on a BJP ticket.

Sunanda and Tarar’s tug-of-war

Posted on 19 January 2014 by admin

Sources say that Sunanda Pushkar and Shashi Tharoor’s married life was on the brink of breaking down. There was news about new clashes every day; Sunanda was also pretty worked up about her husband’s relations with a Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar. Things had come to such a point that the war of words had extended to social media and Twitter had become the battleground. The Twitter handle was being used as a way to throw grenades at each other. To take a leaf out of the verbal spat between the two, here’s an instance, “The blonde’s aqal is lower than her grammer and English spelling.” Maybe that is the reason Sunanda met one of the journalists she is close to and had said, “I will reveal the secret just before the elections that will be enough to finish Shashi’s political career.” Sources confirmed that Tharoor’s view on this was that once he wins the elections, he will file for a divorce petition. But looks like destiny had something else in mind. Indian investigative agencies are, in any case, pretty concerned about Mehr Tarar’s so called links to the ISI and is looking at Sunanda’s death from that angle .

Money talks

Posted on 19 January 2014 by admin

A few days ago, on a busy road in a posh area in south Mumbai, an out-of-control Aston Martin rammed into several cars. The impact was so severe that the Aston Martin flattened down from the front. The car that was travelling at high speed banged against three cars, of which one was an Audi that was being driven by Forum Rupa Rel. After the incident, the driver of a prominent industrialist surrendered in a police station saying he was driving the car when the accident happened but he got so scared that he ran away from the accident site. Sources say that a few eye witnesses claim that the car was being driven by the industrialist’s son and the moment the accident happened, he was escorted away in a car following the Aston Martin. The woman who was wounded during the accident also doesn’t want to speak up now because she has been gifted a brand new Audi 6. The matter has thus been brushed under the carpet. Like they say, money talks.

NaMo’s new friend

Posted on 13 January 2014 by admin

NaMo’s overreaching ambitions seem to have lost a little ground and thus he is busy with establishing contact with those who are working on the ground. His foot soldiers have crossed the paths of several satraps. Now NaMo is contacting each one of them directly and inviting them to join him. For instance, the BJP’s Varun Gandhi was seen at none of NaMo’s public rallies, but now Varun is organising a big rally for Modi in Kolkata on February 8, and he will obviously praise Modi to the skies and write a new story of friendship. But then nothing is permanent in politics – neither friendship nor animosity.

AAP’s ailments

Posted on 13 January 2014 by admin

A different thought, a different mark of honour, political thinking, and a different way is all well but when the Gangotri of power seems just a little distance away, the cleanest streams may become dirty. How much time did AAP take when it came to getting the support of someone like Shoaib Iqbal? It is even being said that in the past few days, several relatives, acquaintances and siblings and opportunists related to AAP party members have joined the party. There’s hardly any time left for the general elections and the Aam Aadmi Party barely has any time to investigate the track record of all the people who are becoming a part of the party. This is the reason that for the past few days, there is a buzz against several AAP representatives and allegations of a serious nature have been put against many of them. But then this is how the political drama plays itself. Mr Clean Kejriwal ji, beware!

AAP changes its tune

Posted on 13 January 2014 by admin

The way AAP winds have swayed over the Indian political scenario has left many a claimers to the political seats in shock. Informed sources reveal that in the next few days, Arvind Kejriwal is going to attack Narendra Modi directly saying, “I am a chief minister and so are you. And if you dare, contest a seat against me at a neutral Lok Sabha constituency. I will make you face the same fate as that of Sheila Dikshit.” The spadework for the challenge has been done and with the intention to cage Modi in his own Gujarat, AAP has already announced that it will contest 26 seats in the state. Several shocking names may emerge from the AAP who will contest the elections from Gujarat. Many of them will be those who have started a campaign against Modi. Mallika Sarabhai, for instance.

Seventy-five plus also to contest elections

Posted on 13 January 2014 by admin

With AAP’s rising sun and NaMo and BJP’s falling graph, the Sangh Parivar is worried and there was a meeting that took place in the Capital city about this. The points that emerged out of the meeting were that the BJP better not take AAP lightly. Two, only those that the party thinks will win should get tickets for the coming Lok Sabha elections. Thus, the Sangh has made a U-turn on its previous take that those who are more than 75 years old will not contest elections that that they will take on the role of a mentor. This change in Sangh’s take has made the leaders in the saffron party extremely happy. Thus, Advani can contest from Gandhinagar, Murli Manohar from Varanasi, Yashwant Sinha from Hazaribagh, Kalyan Singh from either Bulandshahar or Etawah. And if Vasundhara agrees, Jaswant Singh may contest from a seat in Rajasthan. What an irony – in these times of young voters, the BJP and Sangh are placing their bets on the retired politicians.
