BJP working on Sudarshan’s vision

Posted on 20 June 2020 by admin

At such opportune time when RSS’s hopes are on the rise, it is celebrating its ideology shaper KS Sudarshan’s birthday with utmost frolic. Although Sudarshan’s birthdate falls on 18th June, however, the Sangh is following the birthday on 6th June according to the Hindu calendar. Sudarshan has always been a proponent of the swadeshi model for development and throughout his life, he stood against the ‘Western Model and Economic Development’. in his tenure, Sangh’s frontal organization Swadeshi Jagaran Manch also reached great heights. Considered to be staunch anti-globalisation supporter, it was Sudarshan who gave the motto of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. He also laid stress on the development of North-East and he advocated for the Citizenship Amendment Law. So this time, when PM Modi spoke during his ‘Man Ki Baat’ on radio, he also stressed on being ‘Atmanirbhar’. PM clarified that he wants to take manufacturing hub to villages and wants to open new employment opportunities in rural areas. PM’s mention is also important since he believes that those migrant labourers who have reached home, now they will not have to go out in search of work as they will find work near their villages. The Migration Commission has also started working on PM’s idea, the Commission which is going to be given shape in the days to come.

AAP in Bihar elections

Posted on 20 June 2020 by admin

The Aam Aadmi Party has once against started its efforts to spread its power in states other than Delhi. The party has been trying to lure Navjyot Singh Sidhu who is miffed with Congress and the AAP can project Sidhu as its CM face in the next Punjab Assembly elections. As of now, efforts are on to bring Sidhu into the party fold. Moreover, the party is also taking Bihar elections with utmost seriousness. AAP’s Bihar Incharge Sanjay Singh is Rajya Sabha MP. Although he is native of Sultanpur of Uttar Pradesh his political style goes down well with people from Bihar. Hence, during the Corona crisis, AAP has worked tremendously for the migrant labourers from Bihar. Sanjay Singh gave his thirty-four coupons of air travel for Bihari labourers. Along with this, he has appealed the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs that if everyone takes a united step, then 26,860 migrant labourers can be sent back to their native’s states. Till now Singh has sent labourers to Bihar, UP and Madhya Pradesh in 32 buses while AAP has helped more than 1.5 lakh labourers from Bihari by ferrying them in trains. Hence the AAP has decided that the Bihar election will be fought on ‘Delhi governance model’ versus Bihar’s ‘Sushasan Model’. AAP Bihar spokesperson Chandrabhushan has claimed that while in Delhi people pay seventy rupee bill for using 201 unit electricity, in Bihar they have to shell out 1540 rupees. AAP wants to project its successful models of Education, health and transport in Bihar too and has prepared an army of twenty to thirty thousand individuals in each assembly constituency. It has been observed that Muslims in Bihar are quickly turning towards AAP.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiyah Naidu was tensed that when the month-long monsoon session of the house will be called in the third week of July, how will the members maintain social distancing. After this, DMK leader Trichi Shiva gave a suggestion saying that Lok Sabha session should be held with 245 MPs where there are 545 seats for MPs and Lok Sabha MP sessions should be held in Central Hall where more than eight hundred people can sit. It is said that the government is also mulling over this idea.

Mamata’s anxiety and Uddhav’s friendship

Posted on 06 June 2020 by admin

The tussle as to how many ‘Shramik Special’ trains will be given to which state had not even ended that the Amphan cyclone hit West Bengal and Odisha. In this, the railways announced a train from Mumbai to Kolkata. After Amphan, several parts of Kolkata and even the entire state had been badly hit as electricity poles had been uprooted, waterlogging in cities had occurred and there were pressing issues of electricity and water supply. When Mamata started worrying that if Shramik express brings in more people, how then will the state make arrangements for them and how will these people be sent to different parts of the state. Mamata believed that there was some ‘trick; on Centre’s part and thus she immediately called Uddhav and sought his help. Mamata argued that in this time if they come across positive patients, how and where will they keep them. Uddhav on the other hand reportedly told Mamata, “Didi, do not worry. The Bengali workers who want to go back we will speak with them and will try to hold them here. We will also try to find jobs for them here so that they stay in Maharashtra”. it was after this that Mamata took a breath of relief.

Modi Ministers turn media friendly

Posted on 26 May 2020 by admin

Modi govt had a face-off on the migrant issue so now all Modi ministers are giving interviews to media to present the govt version of things happening. Senior ministers like Nitin Gadkari, Prakash Javdekar, Dr Harshvardhan, Nirmala Sitaraman etc have talked to various media houses. Apart from this many ministers are also tweeting on various issues. State BJP presidents too have been asked to propagate the Modi govt efforts to thwart corona crisis along with lambasting the opposition. So while Delhi chief Manoj Tiwari has turned his gun on Arvind Kejriwal the Rajasthan chief Satish Punia is cornering the Congress on the UP Bus Scam. Now the BJP ministers, leaders and the saffron brigade can be seen harping on Mofi govt steps like Shramik Special Trains, Free ration, MANREGA allocation etc.

Yedurappa cuts his minister to size

Posted on 26 May 2020 by admin

Karnataka CM BS Yedurappa seems to be trying hard to come out of his old image. He is very proactively governing his state even in the corona times. Recently he took his law minister JC Madhuswami to task for his misbehaviour. Madhuswami was passing through Kolar when he saw a woman sitting on a dharna with a crowd around her. Madhuswami got out from his car scolded the woman in a high pitch for collecting crowd despite corona guideline of following social distancing. The video of the incident went viral on social media and came to the notice of CM Yedurappa. He called the woman and apologized for the indecent behaviour by his minister saying that what minister said was right as it was duty of everyone to follow social distancing but he was sorry for the way the minister behaved. He should have rather given the same message politely, CM Yedurappa is being praised on social media for his new avatar.

Mamta-Yechury share same stage

Posted on 26 May 2020 by admin

All non-BJP parties are coming on the same page to fight the corona crisis. A virtual meeting was held in which most opposition party leaders and chief ministers participated and dwelled on building a common agenda which they would repeatedly raise in front of central govt. The ‘Common Agenda’ theory was put forward by West Bengal CM Mamta Bannerji. But since PM Modi not only himself did an aerial survey of West Bengal to see the damage by Amphan cyclone but also gave a Rs 1000 crore package for the state, Mamta didn’t directly target PM Modi but substituted it with central govt. She said the central govt is not respecting the federal structure of the country so all opposition parties should collectively repeatedly raise the common agenda in front of the central govt. Congress, on its end, targeted Modi govt of mishandling the migrant crisis. CPM leader Sitaram Yechury raised the issue of free grains & food and MSP purchase in the meeting. What surprised everybody was that both Yechury and Mamta not only shared the platform but also the line of action. Both stressed on raising the common agenda. SP and BSP, often targeted as the B team of BJP, kept a safe distance from this opposition exercise.

Miraculous Ayurvedic Solution

Posted on 26 May 2020 by admin

While the country was facing an unprecedented corona crisis everyone was missing the man with a remedy to all problems, Baba Ramdev. The problem with Baba Ramdev is that now he is more of a Business Guru than a Yoga Guru. Baba Ramdev all of sudden incarnated with his new business plan. This time it was in Madhya Pradesh where CM Shivaraj Singh Chohan, health minister Narottam Mishra and all senior medical officers of the state were present for the video conferencing with Baba. Baba Ramdev started with praising CM Shivraj for his outstanding efforts to contain corona infection against the ground reality in Madhya Pradesh which in fact is competing with most corona affected Maharashtra in terms of the infection spread. Most clean city Indore and capital Bhopal have made records in registering single day positive cases. Baba came to his business plan and announced that Patanjali has come up with a miraculous Kadha ‘Trikoot’ which will boost the body immunity. Now Shivraj govt seems to be determined to make the miraculous ayurvedic solution to 2 crore people in MP.

Where did Priyanka Gandhi go wrong?

Posted on 26 May 2020 by admin

Senior Congress leaders believe that Priyanka Gandhi should have directly talked to UP CM Yogi Adityanath for the return of migrant workers rather than tweeting the offer. It was Priyanka Gandhi’s secretary Sandeep Singh who was communicating with the UP govt. Sandeep has JNU background where he did CPI politics. Sandeep was using his own letter heads to write to the UP govt so obviously the replies too came from SDM and RTO level officers. UP style of functioning can be very well understood from an old incident. It relates to the time when Mulayam Singh was UP CM with Congress supporting it. Then UP Congress president ND Tiwari habitually use to threaten Mulayam govt of taking back its support. When Mulayam was asked as to why didn’t he respond to Tiwari’s threats, Mulayam said since ND Tiwari was Congress state chief so he better be replied by the state chief of his party, Ramcharan Das, and not him. Was same UP tradition followed in case of Sandeep Singh too? Priyanka Gandhi better understand this.
