The clash between Chandrababu Naidu and BJP has come as an outset of good days for Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sources reveal that Jagan, who has been of late tangled with the ED and I-T department, sent a close aide as a messenger to the ‘Saffron Chanakya’ Amit Shah to put forth his willingness to meet him. Anyway, to curb Chandrababu, it is crucial to showcase Jagan’s closeness with BJP.
So, a power-packed meeting took place between the two. Sources say that when Jagan came to meet the Shah-en-Shah of politics, he made an appeal to get some relief at least from the government agencies. And thus the end of the meeting marked an end to Jagan’s miseries, too. Must say it was like a fast-relief for Jagan.
But the important question here is what was the deal sealed between the two in that meeting? Sources say that Jagan clearly denied a pre-poll alliance to Shah as that may endanger his Muslim-Christian core vote-banks. So he has suggested a post-poll alliance, but with one condition – BJP breaks its all ties with Chandrababu Naidu.
Pro-politician Shah is well aware that each and every seat will play a vital role in the 2019 General Elections and hence he wants both Jagan and Chandrababu to be part of the Team Saffron so that BJP’s all five fingers remain intact.

63-year-old Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan has long wished to take the political plunge. On and off again he has publicly criticised the Modi government and its policies. On the 21st of this February, he finally launched his political party MNM (Makkal Needhi Maiam) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, where he also unfurled the party’s official flag in red, white and black hues.
The flag depicts six hands holding onto one other. Three of the hands are in red and the other three in white. At the centre of the flag is a six-pointed star in black, forming a white core.
Regarding the design of the flag, a prominent astrologer Sanjay Chaudhary has made many interesting predictions. According to Astrologer Chaudhary, the sun sign of Kamal Haasan’s party is Aquarius and its master Saturn is currently placed at the 11th position – which, apparently, is an auspicious combination. Mercury is in the ascendant with the Sun and forming ‘Aditya Yog’ which predicts that the party will have a long-run. Jupiter is also a part of the ascendant whose seventh House is occupied by the Sun, whose ascendant is Cancer – which predicts that Kamal’s party may form an alliance with a national party, probably Congress, and this alliance will have a wide impact on the 2019 elections. The formation of ‘Gaja Kesri Yog’ in the chart is also a positive indication which depicts a healthy-run for the party in coming days. The positioning of Rahu in the sixth House is sure a matter of concern which predicts internal conspiracy, but Kamal and his party’s stars are so powerful that he’ll escape this attempt of defamation because Jupiter is firmly positioned in the ninth House of luck.

The rituals of politics are too unique. Those who are left to wander in politics, their ambitions also do not fade in spite of adverse circumstances. Today, we will talk about two such biggies who are looking at themselves as the next PM.
First, let’s talk about saffron rebel leader Yashwant Sinha. In a bid to make him the next PM, marathon meetings are being held at Prithviraj Road-situated residence of industrialist and former MP Kamal Morarka. Sources say, Yashwant Sinha, Kamal Morarka, Shatrughan Sinha, former ambassador KC Singh, former MP and journalist Santosh Bharati and a few leaders of Aam Aadmi Party participate in this meeting.
Every evening, the meet invites all those who are angry and dissatisfied with Modi and Shah. Sources reveal that in a similar meeting in recent past, a popular rebel BJP MP also paticipated. The MP had hoped that the nature of the meeting would be very political, but he was surprised to see that the leaders were rather busy discussing who will sponsor today’s food and drinks on whom, etc. etc… Only after the allotment settled, the actual discussion over how Yashwant Sinha is the most eligible candidate to challenge Modi for the prime ministerial post and that all those angry allies of BJP should be contacted for support.
KC Singh has been assigned the task to approach the Akali Dal and non-NDA partner Aam Aadmi Party. Similarly, Shatrughan Sinha has been given the responsibility to talk to Chandrababu Naidu.
Afterward, the BJP MP who was present in that meeting was asked which party could he persuade, to which this very taken aback said: “First, let me talk to myself.”

Let’s talk about PM Candidate. These days, Sharad Yadav’s meetings at his Lutyens Zone’s Tughlaq Road-situated residence are in the hots. And the stalwart putting Sharad Yadav’s ambition into full throttle is his Samajwadi partner and former MP Ali Anwar.
Ali Anwar is without fail regularly ringing up the forgotten Samajwadis and inviting them to Sharad Yadav’s residence. These leaders are being told that “Sharad ji will talk on the issues of farmers this evening, kindly grace the occasion.” Sources say that similar calls were made to some BJP and JDU MPs, as well as a few senior journalists.
Through such meetings, the preparations for Sharad Yadav’s Rajya Sabha election are also being given wings.
Many new arguments are also being fabricated in favor of Sharad Yadavm as a sauitable PM candidate, for instance – Sharad is the most suitable person to be PM, because he also wears ‘dhoti’ like Atal ji; He has a very good rapport with the leaders of Opposition parties, so he can be the face for a united-Opposition.
Sharad Yadav too seems devoted to this mission by taking several state-tours. He doesn’t forget to confirm with Ali Anwar, halfway through the meeting, if arrangement for his accommodation and air ticket have been made. But when a very confused Anwar fails to respond, he has to turn his face the other side.

PM Narendra Modi and his political consort Amit Shah seem to be pushing for a quick second inning by advancing the General Elections for 2019. If the birds cooing in the 7 RCR orchards are to be believed, the duo want the General Polls to be held simultaneously with the state polls in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh in January 2019.
The thorn pricking the deeply superstitious twosome, however, are the soothsayers in their very own camp, the God’s Ears, for them, so to say. They say that on October 26, 2017, Saturn has entered the constellation of Sagittarius, due to which there is a lengthened period of apocalypse clouding Modi’s political horizon. This will last till March 2019. A top astrologer for the BJP predicts that the times are precarious for Modi till at Least March 19, 2019.
During this period, the economic fortunes of the country will suffer and there could be a serious decline in Modi’s popularity index. The opposition will find a unified platform and continuously road-roll the government. Worse, it is during this period that the Modi-Shah duo’s totalitarian manner of running the party will see many top BJP leaders quit the party and join parties where breathing is allowed without seeking permission from the two bosses. Modi is in trouble, The God’s Ears say, and he will have to fight on too many fronts at once. And they says it is not just in India. India’s neighbours will be also in turmoil, so much so that the dates for polls in both Pakistan and Bangladesh may have to be shifted. Imran Khan in Pakistan and Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh may have to face serious charges of impropriety. The well-wishers of the political mandarins in India are in a tizzy trying to work out solutions, and yet, the stars move in their own time following their own paths and care not two hoots to make a difference between the meek or the powerful.

Un-aging superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s fabled line in a super-duper Hindi film of yore goes like this: “The queue starts from behind me!” And guess what ‘poliwood’ superstar Amit Shah, helming the BJP would say if he needed to repeat the same sense?” “In saffron politics, only those will move up the ladder who are seen close to me.” True it is. Though a late entrant in the Upper House of Parliament, the political hobnobbing starts with Shah as the epicenter. You can actually feel the hum and buzz around Shah among BJP parliamentarians whenever he arrives in Parliament or is at his machinations in the Central Hall. As it is he speaks very little and rarely interacts with opposition politicians. However, wherever he is, JP Nadda and Bhupender Yadav can be seen hovering around, and such is his draw that even other ministers halt at his sight and pay their obeisance.

BJP’s ‘Chanakya’, Amit Shah, once again seems to have switched on the election mode. Amit Shah’s favourite agency ‘Association of Brilliant Minds’ is seemingly active in many states simultaneously. The agency has begun working on various states of the south, including states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Apart from this, the election work has already begun in Haryana. Indicatively, BJP President Shah will start with his election campaign in full throttle from February itself.
The head of Brilliant Minds, Sunil Kanugolu, used to work for McKenzie. But when Prashant Kishor took over the BJP’s work, Sunil joined him. When Prashant was shown a way out, then Gujarat’s industrialist Deepak Bhai Patel introduced Sunil to Modi and Shah. After that Shah put the agency on work as his in-house agency.
This agency had a very important role in registering a bumper victory for the BJP in the recent UP assembly elections. Most importantly, even after nearly a year of UP elections, a big crunch of the agency is still active in UP, which reports the accounts of BJP legislators and MPs to Shah. Sources reveal that the agency has identified 17 Parliamentary Areas of UP where people are very resentful about their local BJP MPs. So it is a high possibility that in view with the anti-incumbency, Shah might turn down the ticket of those MPs, and instead introduce a few new faces on the ground.
According to sources, the agency also strives on reading the public’s pulse and, from time to time, also gives necessary suggestions to the party president. The debt exemption of UP farmers is said to be a brain-child of this agency.
In Haryana, the agency has suggested the Party President to buy 1100 motorcycles for 90 assembly seats here. Party MLAs and MPs have been asked to identify dedicated party workers in their respective areas to whom these bikes can be given, after which they could ride around villages and boast of the achievements of Modi and the Khattar government. The agency has huge offices in Gurgaon and Lucknow. Shah has strictly instructed the agency workers to stay low-profile and maintain a distance from the media.

The Prime Minister’s ambitious ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ seems to be turning into ‘Sarvnash Bharat’ (Disastrous India) scheme even in the areas neighbouring his own constituency. Researchers of the Institute for Compassionate Economics, a reputed American agency, are carrying an extensive research related to Swachh Bharat in many areas of UP. The agency believes that such campaigns will reduce down to mere slogans unless the cleanliness mindset of the common Indians changes.
The researchers found in their survey that the conditions of the toilets in rural areas are the worst. On one hand, government agencies showcase big figures under ODF (open defecation free India.). Whereas, in reality, not even half that number of toilets are constructed. Referring to a village in UP, the agency says that government papers have claimed that 576 toilets have been constructed till October, but on the contrary, it has been found in the investigation that only 26 toilets, i.e., 4.5 per cent of those were operational. 79 toilets are claimed to be swept off in the flood.
And don’t even start on the quality of these toilets constructed by contractors. The agency claims a sack of cement, and poor quality bricks are put together to merely increase the official figures. 30% of the surveyed toilets didn’t even have the commodes. About 90 to 95 per cent of the restrooms were either locked or broken or people were using them as a warehouse. In many schools, there were shocking malfunctions – where the girls’ washrooms had men urinals installed in them. The school administration said it was so because the girls did not use toilets made in schools as they were dirty. And the school administration isn’t quite keen to bother to provide that cleanliness.

Who can worry about their allies more than the BJP? Speaking of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, basis an intelligence report the central government did grant him a Z-plus security, but there isn’t enough scope in BJP chief Amit Shah’s schedule book to spare any time for the CM. Trusted sources suggest that ever since Lalu Yadav landed behind the bars, Nitish Kumar has been seeking a meeting with the Saffron leader Amit Shah to finalise the strategies of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and draw agreements on the electoral seat distribution between BJP and JDU in Bihar. But in the state of affairs, the BJP ‘Chanakya’ was so busy that Nitish received a message from his office asking him to meet Ram Lal and hold discussions. Following this when Nitish’s office contacted Ram Lal, they were informed that the latter is set to visit Patna one of these days but on a very packed schedule. To this Nitish invited Ram Lal over for lunch at the CM house where the two can simultaneously talk over the strategies. But Ram Lal declined the invite, too, and instead offered to spare some time for Nitish at the airport. Nitish replied that there is no haste; he will see him in Delhi.

Delhi is far away for Nitish, but not ‘too far’. So he visited Delhi to meet Ram Lal in the next few days itself. With this began the tabling round between the two negotiators. Nitish wanted to paint a clear picture for the allocation of seats between BJP and JDU in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Nitish said that at present, 32 of the 40 seats in Bihar are with the NDA alliance and the remaining 8 seats are divided among JDU, RJD and Congress. Sources reveal that Ram Lal, while clarifying the conditions before Nitish, said, “We will contest the seats which are ours; Paswan’s seats are his exclusive. Upendra Kushwaha will also be with us. We can spare the remaining 8 seats for you.”
Aghast at the offer, Nitish told Ram Lal that JDU has always been BJP’s big partner; hence it would only be fair to allot a respectable number of seats. Also, of those spared 8, maximum are Muslim-majority seats. To this, Ram Lal said that time is aplenty with JDU to prepare for those seats. This left Nitish speechless and he had to ultimately return to Patna with a doomed mission.
