BJP’s newly elected president Nitin Gadkari has made it clear to his
Marathi brothers and sister, leaders and journalists that he would
only speak in Marathi when he would be on the auspicious land of
Maharashtra and on crossing the borders of the State he would start
conversing in Hindi. So he has appealed to his Marathi brothers and
sisters that outside Maharashtra they should only speak to him in
Hindi or English. Gadkari has also reminded his Marathi manush that
now he is the national president of a national party.

After this Digvijay pulled out agenda Gorakhpur from his bag. Or how
can Rahul devastate the fort of BJP MP Yogi Adityanath. So in great
haste the contours of Rahul’s visit to Gorakhpur were worked upon. By
then a secret report of IB came that if Rahul goes to Gorakhpur to woo
the Muslims then there could be a reaction from the Hindus and this
could increase communal tension there which could benefit BJP. The
arrival of this report also put a full stop to Rahul’s proposed visit
to Gorakhpur.

The Rajya Sabha membership of journalist and BJP leader Arun Shourie is coming to an end. It would be interesting to see how the party treats him. Will he be brought back to the Rajya Sabha or would he be shown the door. Significantly, the party Parliamentary Board and Election Committee has assured Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi that no matter from which State a Rajya Sabha seat falls vacant, his number would definitely come. Similarly, Advani has assured senior leader of UP BJP Keshrinath Tripathi of a Rajya Sabha berth and Advani’s courtier Chandan Mitra is also doing regular rounds to get a seat. BJP president Nitin Gadkari has himself assured Piyush Goel that he would bring him to Rajya Sabha and Kirit Somaiyya is also in the queue. The wait of Najma Heptulla is also becoming unbearable. She now wants to come to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan, but is waiting for her number to come.

Lalit Modi has learnt a lot of games while playing games. When he found the stranglehold of BCCI and other regulatory bodies over his dream project IPL, then he straight headed for US, where he wants to start a cricket league on the lines of IPL. The game plan is that in such a scenario there would be no control of a board over him. It is understood that this proposed league was vehemently opposed by BCCI secretary Srinivasan. Giving shape to his sharp planning, Modi placed the gun on the shoulder of Sharad Pawar’s son-in-law Sadanand Sule in the Goa meeting that was held to decide the broadcast right contract for IPL. In lieu of giving the 20-20 cricket telecast right of IPL, for the first time in the history of cricket Rs 400 crores were given
to a WSG Company in the name of service charge. And it is not hidden from anyone that this company belongs to Lalit Modi. So no matter where the ghee falls, it lands in the rice.

Rahul is the rising star of the Congress. Aware of the Congress traditions, he is adept in writing new chapters. So when he reached the Capital of a State recently and participated in the meeting of the youth Congress workers there, he was so impressed by a youth leader that he immediately made him an important offer `would he like to join his or Rahul’s team?’ This youth had just completed his studies from a big management institute and joined a new company. So hesitatingly, he turned down the offer to join Rahul’s team saying he was drawing a
salary of Rs 60,000. After thinking for a moment, Rahul said: `Okay, I will give you twice this amount or Rs 1.2 lakh per month, will you agree now?’ The youth gladly accepted the offer and now he is in Rahul’s team in which over a dozen an a half such people are already working, drawing a salary of over Rs 1 lakh per month. But when the dreams are big one should also keep ones heart big. And this once can learn from the Congress prince.

People who were witness to the meeting between American President Barack Obama and our Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would perhaps never be able to forget how much our premier is immersed in the love for America. In Alexander’s captivity, Porus had told him “I be treated
in the manner a king treats another king …’ But see the plight of our country, our Prime Minister was so enamoured with Obama’s persona that every sentence he would speak was laced with sweet words of respect …. sir, sir … as if an obedient officer was following the directions of
his senior. In the second stint of the UPA Government, the Prime Minister is openly declaring his love for America and it is as if a race has broken out among the senior incumbent ministers to please America. Therefore be it P. Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal, Murli Deora, Anand Sharma, Shashi Tharoor, Jairam Ramesh or Prithviraj Chauhan, they are all busy promoting the American agenda. The most surprising thing is that to establish the monopoly of American company GM Foods,
at the direction of the Prime Minister his obedient Prithviraj Chauhan is about to bring a “Biotech Regulatory Bill’’ through the Science and Technology Ministry as per which if an Indian citizen would ask any question about GM Foods or its medicines then he would be liable
to be punished for a term of up to six months. So, on the one side we are standing on the verge of emergency and the main opposition party is busy in singing and dancing. When Rome was burning, Nero was playing the flute. You are great, Mr. Gadkari. And even greater than
you is your army of foot soldiers.

Gadkari is making efforts to constitute his new team. First lets look at the list of his prospective general secretaries — `Ananth Kumar, Rudy or Shivshankar Prasad, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Karuna Shukla, Shahnawaz or Naqvi, Navjot Singh Sidhu.’ Vinay Katiyar is being ousted from the new team of general secretaries, Kalraj Mishra is being made a vice-president, Varun Gandhi could be handed the responsibility of the Yuva Morcha; and Vani Tripathi and Shaina N.C. can also be the
rising stars in Gadkari’s new team.

The Andhra Congress leaders are in a quandary over Chidambaram’s irresponsible stance over Telangana. So be it Jaipal Reddy or Jagmohan Reddy, everyone is speaking their heart out about Chidambaram at 10 Janpath. And the son-in-law of Apollo Hospital owner Pratap Reddy has
formed a forum in Delhi to oppose the creation of Telangana in which politicians, journalists and even industrialists who believe that the new State should not be formed are being involved. And this is what is not being liked by PC.

Pandit Narayan Dutt Tiwari had set up camp in Delhi for four days recently in the hope that if he would get an appointment with Sonia, he would be able to explain his position. But let alone meet him, Sonia was not even willing to talk to Tiwari over the phone.

In the incumbent government there are two ministers who have nothing to do with the Cabinet meetings. For that matter, take Azhagiri from the DMK quota. He has not attended a Cabinet meeting till date and neither has he replied to any question in Parliament as a Minister. Next in line is Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee who has till not
participated in only three Cabinet meetings. Even otherwise, her train seldom leaves Bengal.
