And in the end

Posted on 07 February 2010 by admin

Other things apart, there are now even talks of bringing Amar Singh into BJP and the lone BJP leader who is furthering this agenda is
someone who has no equal in hurling the political bouncer. From the politics of cricket to the art of sophistication, he has deep
knowledge of all. He is also the only saffron leader who had gone to Singapore to learn about the well-being of Amar when he was admitted there.

This time there was lot of speculation that senior Congress leader Arjun Singh would soon be rehabilitated and he would be made the Governor of an important State. But this did not happen and the reason behind this is that Congress prince Rahul Gandhi does not like Arjun Singh.

Can’t confide in president

Posted on 29 January 2010 by admin

BJP leaders who want to speak their heart before the president, are in a quandary. Ramlal never leaves Gadkari alone. He comes in the morning
and perches himself and does not leave till late in the evening. Kirit Somiah and Piyush Goyal also remain around the president like his shadows. Bal Apte and Sanjay Joshi can also be seen hovering around. In such a scenario how can a saffron leader tell the president anything straight out of their heart.

A 12 crore wrap

Posted on 23 January 2010 by admin

A Rajya Sabha MP of BJP recently got access to the documents that had details of the irregularities committed by a Union Minister. Threatening this South Indian Minister, the BJP MP sought Rs 12 crores from him and told him that if he wants that this matter should not go to the press or be raised in Parliament, then the money should be
arranged quickly. Now the Minister was also of the same calibre, he was an old hand, so he lodged a complaint against this MP with the BJP high command. But there is still no indication of any action from the side of the high command. So the saffron MP has now made up his mind to expose the Minister. In the days to come, this matter could come to light in an English daily published out of Delhi.

More heads to roll

Several other politicians can get sacrificed in the boiling pot of
Telangana. The most recent name is of the Congress in-charge of Andhra
Veerappa Moily who is accused of neither being able to control the
lofty ambitions of Jagan following te death of his father Rajshekhar
Reddy and nor being able to handle the Telangana issue well. Therefore
the songs of Moily’s departure have been penned and in his place,
either Ghulam Nabi Azad or Digvijay Singh could be made in-charge of
Andhra.

Sister act

Posted on 13 January 2010 by admin

No matter how much the distance may be between CPI(M) and Trinamool
and no matter how much Mamta may be gripped by the communist phobia,
the MPs of these two parties are busy burying their hatchets. Recently
in the corridor of Parliament, a Trinamool MP came across a lady
CPI(M) MP and he immediately greeted her saying `didi’ (sister). When
the CPI(M) MP gave an astonished look, the Trinamool MP said – `I have
just two didis and they are both equally dear. One is you and the
other is Mamta didi’. What if Mamta didi comes to know?

Modern day Vishwamitra

Asaram Bapu met Advani a few days ago and asked for help. But the wily
old Advani as per his habit so distanced himself – `Bapu, you know
that he (Modi) does not listen to anyone. Not even to me.’ So Ashok
Singhal of VHP, who has emerged as the new messiah for Bapu, sought
time from Modi to meet him and he called him over to his home. Singhal
was made to sit in a majestic drawing room. As per the schedule, Modi
came there. On seeing him, Singhal who was sitting on a sofa, got up.
And without any formal exchange of greetings, Modi fired his volley of
words – `Why have you started breaking your `tapasya’, Ashok ji?’
Having said this Modi moved towards his inside room, leaving Singhal
standing alone.

Go Guru, go

Posted on 03 January 2010 by admin

What broth is cooking between Guruji and BJP and the responsibility of
the final talks with Shibu Soren has been given by BJP to the lady
whose past experience of talks with him in Kolkata was quite bitter.
But this time, the BJP leadership had told Guruji clearly – `We know
how many seats we have go and how many are with you. So it would be
better that you talk to the Congress first because our previous
experience with you was not good. If you are unable to get along with
the Congress, then we would be ready to talk to you and to form the
government with you.’ BJP knows that it is an old habit of Soren that
he keeps the doors on both the sides open for talks uses this
two-faced approach of his really well politically. So if all goes as
per the thinking of the BJP leadership then Guruji would be Chief
Minister of Jharkhand and Raghuvar Das of BJP would become Deputy
Chief Minister.

Unhappy trio

Posted on 03 January 2010 by admin

There are three people in BJP who are against the party’s alliance
with Soren. They are party’s former president Rajnath Singh, Yashwant
Sinha and Arjun Munda. The reasoning of this trio is that BJP had in
the past launched a widespread campaign to have Soren removed from the
Manmohan’s council of ministers and so with what face can BJP now join
hands with the tainted Soren. At this the response of the BJP
leadership is that when Congress can take our `kar sewaks’ (like
Babulal Marandi, Shanker Singh Vaghela, Jagdambika Pal) in its camp
and can on the basis of their strength launch an open political
tirade, then why should BJP restrict itself on self-imposed grounds.

Taking after his own heart

Posted on 23 December 2009 by admin

The security agencies are very concerned about the security of a powerful minister in the Manmohan Singh Government. This respectable Cabinet Minister is these days at loggerheads with Pranab Mukherjee. The Minister believes that should a situation arise that Sonia has to choose another PM in place of Manmohan then he would be the one to be elected. So, these days this Minister is full of overconfidence and goes to meet a special lady friend of his in Golf Links colony by driving his car on his own. The security agencies are just left watching.
