After the grand wedding of his son, Nitish Gadkari has gone to Israel, with a team of 10 BJP members, which includes Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Satpal Malik and Jaswant Singh’s son Manvendra Singh. The fourth estate shorn off its clothes

Posted on 10 December 2010 by admin

The media which has uncovered several scams now stands naked. When prominent journalists have been undone, some have resorted to clichés. Rajdeep Sardesai says allegations against them have not been proven yet. Can he please tell why then have media attacks not quieted down on Mulayam, Lalu and Mayawati, against whom the charges haven’t been proved either? In fact, several Parliamentarians were heard saying in the Central Hall that the Padma Shree from Barkha Dutt and Rajdeep Sardesai should be taken back, otherwise it will be an insult to India’s biggest civilian award.

Of moles and rats

Several clever cats of the JPC are waiting for the butter to fall from the dish. It is those Parliamentarians who have already been a part of several JPCs and know how to milk the cow. Thus, those such as Sanjay Nirupam, S S Ahluvalia and Prem Gupta are waiting for the JPC with bated breath.

No work, no bonus

Posted on 01 December 2010 by admin

There is a scramble to take credit for the idea “No work, no bonus” among Congress workers. Among the first ones to try to take credit for it is the jhola-weilding Sandeep Dixit. Then Manoj Tiwari was also heard saying that the idea was his. But the truth is that the man behind the idea is one who doesn’t come forward in the media too often – Ahmed Patel.

High command’s orders

Posted on 01 December 2010 by admin

Among the ruckus kicked by the Opposition members in the Parliament, one wonders what the Congress party’s strategy would be. To discuss the same, on the party high command’s orders, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pavan Bansal invited 10 loud-mouth party members and they were warned not to reveal the party’s strategy to the press. The present Congressmen agreed but the next day the media was rife with all about the strategy. When the high command summoned these ministers to give them a dressing down, three names were revealed as having talked to the press – Sanjay Nirupam. Rashid Alvi and Jagdambika Pal. The best part is that all three have been blaming each other that it was not they but the others who did it. They were sent off with a warning that if they didn’t mend their ways they wouldn’t be invited to important meetings. Maybe things will change.

So that Amhed remains under control

Posted on 21 November 2010 by admin

Powerful and Sonia’s ears, nose and eyes Amhed Patel receives strage behaviour at the hands of the PMO. When the PMO drew out a list of 80 people for dinner with Obama, his name was absent in the list. Several dinners and lunches have been held before and after this, but Amhed hasn’t been invited. It is being said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is not aware of all this since the responsibility of inviting people is the responsibility of Kutty Nair. It may be true but surely after the list is ready, it is sent to the PM for approval.

Hadley’s truth

Posted on 14 November 2010 by admin

The American government has done a deal with Hadley to convert his death sentence into life imprisonment. According to the deal, Hadley has told the Americans that he will share all the information he has with the other country, that is, India. Only then have the Indian authorities been able to reach him and interrogate him. You can call it the gift for being friendly with the US.

Held between December 15-20, Congress’ Planning Session’s venue might be changed. According to earlier plans, it was supposed to be held in Maharashtra but now the organizing committee is looking at some other place for the session and may be held in Delhi or Jaipur. During this session, the Congress is going to flag off several new programmes to mark the party’s completion of 125 years. It is believed that 10 Janpath is angry with Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan. A sting operation has alleged that the state party president had collected Rs 2 crore for Sonia’s Maharashtra rally by illegal means and the chief minister may have returned all the flats in the Adarsh Nagar Housing Society that were in his relatives’ names, but the matter hasn’t died down. He may have a great relationship with Maharashtra’s powerful leader Sharad Pawar, but there’s a war of sorts between the Pawar and central party leadership, too. In such a scenario, Sonia doesn’t think Maharashtra is the ideal place for a meeting. Maybe that’s one of the reasons Chavan has been ordered to come to Delhi in a hurry.
