Swami’s ire

Posted on 10 January 2011 by admin

Subramaniam Swamy is upset with a few BJP leaders. Swamy wanted to join the NDA, but his suggestion was strongly turned down by a reformist BJP leader. Needless to say, Swamy’s dream of being a part of the NDA was shattered. Now he’s going around saying to all, “I was asked by Advani himself to join the BJP, but I wanted to join the NDA, whose president is Advani himself. But those leaders who are refusing Swamy’s entry into the party feel that there is a nuisance value to Swamy, which may harm the NDA. Wonder why Advani doesn’t consult his colleagues before introducing an issue on a public forum?

BJP’s bash-ing

Posted on 03 January 2011 by admin

A big leader of the BJP threw a lavish party for his birthday and New Year. The entire expenses for the party were borne by a property dealer from Jor Bagh and Prithviraj Road. One wonders how the party can still talk about a clean image.

The ever-changing 2G

Posted on 03 January 2011 by admin

A few prominent Parliamentarians of the Congress have a different view of the 2G scam but can’t air their view because of the fear of the high command. The Parliamentarians believe that although it is good that Raja and Radia are being questioned, they mere mediums. They were merely lobbying for big industrial houses who had given them big bribes and wondered why there people were not being questioned. Clearly, their fingers were pointed at Tata, Ambani, Unitech and similar names in the corporate sector.

America bound

In the recent past, all four of our GSLVs in April, July and December fizzled out within 58 seconds of their launch. Now Isro is about to submit a report to the government about the same. Sources say that the report will blame the Russian cryogenic material for all of this. It is even being said that a conspiracy theory that will point fingers at the US. The country is waiting to lend technical support to India, which means that in the days to come, our dependence on the US will only increase. Does our pro-US government have anything to do with it?

How comes Indresh?

Posted on 30 December 2010 by admin

Sangh’s prominent leader Indresh Kumar was presented before the CBI in relation to the Ajmer Sharif blasts. He came to the CBI office with a crowd of his supporters, and was let off after basic interrogation. He was asked about his and Sangh’s activities. He sure sighed with relief once out but the question is will the CBI’s behaviour be the same three months from now? It is possible that the CBI may get a significant witness against Kumar. As it is, the BJP will not be able to point fingers against the BJP this time, because Madhya Pradesh, where the state police is investigating the Sunil Joshi murder case, is run by the BJP.

PC’s Radiiagate

Posted on 30 December 2010 by admin

The prime minister’s speech at the Congress’ Burari meet may not have mentioned Rahul Gandhi even once, but Chidambaram’s speech talked of nothing but Rahul. He said that he could see Rajiv Gandhi in his mind’s eye when he heard Rahul’s speech with his eyes closed. Those against PC say it is the effect of Radiia tapes because the Congress high command is trying to get under the whole Radiia tape leak. It is believed that the tapes were leaked with the instructions of one of PC’s industrialist friends.

Yadurappa’s front man

Posted on 21 December 2010 by admin

The war of words between Ratan Tata and Rajeev Chandrashekhar is on. In a way Tata has come all out against the NDA and the BJP. But few people know that once favoured by Venkaiah Naidu and Ananth Kumar, Chandrashekhar (who has sold his BPL company) nowadays is the frontman of Karnataka Chief Minister Yeduyrappa. Whatever Yedduyruppa wants to buy, he does so through Chandrashekhar. Whether it is a flat in the posh area of Sundernagar in Delhi or a newspaper, it is all done by Chandrashekhar.

Didn’t mean to be cunning

Posted on 21 December 2010 by admin

The 2G scam has cost several top journalists their jobs. A top journalist, who went all out to favour Niira Radia, was ousted by a newspaper group. The CD of conversations that the journalists showed t his boss was of 40 Kb, but he smartly omitted the 8 Kb of conversations that Radia had with him. That conversation has some eye-opening details. So the owner-editor of the group relieved the journalist of his post saying, “I wish you had brought out the entire truth in front of us. I can handle everything except cunning” Oh Prabhu, why don’t we mortals understand this little thing?
