Gadkari also disclosed that he intended to raise money from the common man for the construction of Indian national highways, for which people would be able to make monthly payments at an interest rate of 8 percent per annum. It should be noted that on the above day Gadkari was campaigning for the party in Himachal Pradesh. But to give the award to Dr. Manmohan Singh, he had come straight from the airport to the ceremony venue.

Even though the political ambitions of Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao are to rise to the national stage, all is not well in his house. The differences between his son KTR and daughter Kavita are now visible in public as well. Recently, when KCR changed the name of his regional party ‘TRS’ to ‘BRS’ and made his intentions clear that now his eyes are on national politics, his daughter Kavita was absent. Kavita has not found a place in the team of 87 leaders in charge of campaigning and management for the by-election to be held in Monogode assembly seat of Telangana. KTR himself is blaming election strategist Prashant Kishor and claims that PK had come to Hyderabad to meet Kavita and his cousin Harish Rao. KTR suspects that PK has put various ideas in kavita and his brother’s minds that they are being sidelined in the party. Since then, the rebellion of Kavita has started taking shape. Anyway, when a BJP MP dragged Kavita’s name in Delhi’s liquor scam, the party did not come to her rescue. KTR has also expressed his displeasure with PK for not renewing this contract simultaneously with his company ‘iPack’ which expired recently and as promised it was to be renewed for the next three years.
