तमिलनाडु में मंदिरों के नियंत्रण को लेकर लड़ाई ने तब और तूल पकड़ लिया जब से स्टालिन के नेतृत्व वाली डीएमके वहां सत्ता में आई है। सनद् रहे कि भाजपा ने अपने 2021 के चुनावी मेनिफेस्टो में मंदिरों को राज्य के प्रशासनिक नियंत्रण से मुक्त कराने का वादा किया था। भाजपा ने कहा था कि ’अगर राज्य में उसकी गठबंधन वाली सरकार आई तो मंदिरों के रख-रखाव का काम भक्तों के स्वायत्त बोर्ड को सौंप दिया जाएगा।’ स्टालिन ने सत्ता में आते ही संघ और भाजपा समर्थकों को निशाने पर लेना शुरू कर दिया है, उनके हमले की जद में सबसे पहले विवादास्पद धर्म गुरू जग्गी वासुदेव आ गए, जिनकी भाजपा और संघ से नजदीकियां जगजाहिर हैं। ताजा मामला जग्गी वासुदेव के नियंत्रण वाले ‘ईशा फाऊंडेशन’ की कोयंबटुर स्थित उस बिल्डिंग का है, जिसे राज्य सरकार फॉरेस्ट लैंड में बना मान रही है। स्टालिन के वित्त मंत्री पलनीवेल थियाग राजन जो अमेरिका के एमआईटी से पढ़ कर आए हैं, इन्हें पीटीआर के नाम से जाना जाता है, स्टालिन ने 1994 से 2008 के बीच निर्मित ईशा फाऊंडेशन के भवनों की जांच काम इन्हें सौंपा है। पीटीआर ने आते ही जग्गी वासुदेव को अपने निशाने पर ले लिया और उन्हें प्रचार काभूखा करार दिया है। पीटीआर के मुताबिक सद्गुरू जग्गी भारत सरकार की कृपा से अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर योग का प्रचार-प्रसार तो कर रहे हैं पर इन दिनों उनकी दिलचस्पी मंदिरों के निजीकरण में ज्यादा बढ़ गई है। अब संघ भाजपा की दिक्कत है कि वे पीटीआर को नास्तिक कह कर ललकार नहीं सकते क्योंकि पीटीआर के दादा पीटी राजन ने 1936 में सबरीमाला मंदिर को भगवान अयप्पा की मूर्ति डोनेट की थी और उन्हें वहां स्थापित करवाया था, जब पहले वाली प्रतिमा मंदिर में लगी आग की भेंट चढ़ गई थी। आने वाले दिनों में डीएमके का प्रहार संघ और उनके शुभचिंतकों पर आ।र गहरा हो सकता है।
