There was an important meeting of party stalwarts convened last Monday by Priyanka Gandhi. Top brass like Gulam Nabi Azad, Raj Babbbar, Sheila Dixit and Sanjay Singh were present i. Sources revealed that the singular topic of discussion was Rita Bahuguna Joshi, who recently joined the BJP, and the political cost to the Congress. They also deliberated why Rita left the party and many secrets were then revealed.
It was disclosed that Rita was apprehensive of losing to Mulayam Singh’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav from the Lucknow Cantonment assembly constituency, a seat the Congress wanted her to contest from. Allegedly, Aparna is also in touch with BJP to ensure her own win. Later, Congress held a Brahmin Conference and put Pramod Tiwari’s daughter Mona Mishra in charge of it, without including the name of, or even consulting Rita about it. Rita comes from a very old Brahmin leader family.
It is also said that in the “Minority Conference”, the party did not allow Rita to enter. It was strategically being decided to place major political leaders in those districts through which Rahul’s yatra will pass so that they may interact with the media during the rally.
Rita was in charge of Faizabad. When Rahul Gandhi reached Faizabad, Rita was already there to receive him. Sources revealed Rahul Gandhi was livid on seeing her and asked- what she is doing there, directing her to go back to Lucknow.
Rita Bahuguna then decided that her steps will now lead directly to Amit Shah’s doors.

Nitin Gadkari is turning out to be more media savvy than work savvy. Scribes on the highways ministry beat get to know about plans which are still under wraps. Like, Gadkari announced about the ropeway transport system between Dhaula Kuan and Manesar in Gurugram. The reporters wanted to know about the details and Gadkari told them to get in touch with his PS, Vaibhav Dange. The reporters rushed to Dange, only to realise that he was completely n the dark. Dange then contacted officials of NH Authority to get the relevant files. The Authority official immediately responded that the file had not even been prepared yet.
This is in sharp contrast with the newly appointed HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, who avoids interacting with the media, starving the beat correspondents of news. Why, even former HRD minister Smriti Irani was more open: information used to be fed the media long before it was being discussed in the cabinet. Now, whether Gadkiri or Irani are doing acche governance remains to be seen. Their leader too avoids the press, so is Javadekar taking a leaf out of him?

Haunted by deafening silence he walked on being trapped in time wrap, still, he chose bittersweet moments finding a purpose of his life, that too at a time when the opinion polls are indicating that the Young Turk Varun Gandhi is one of the leading faces of saffron politics. Amidst this, the young Gandhi has conspired in a Honey Trap.
The stalwarts of the party must have heard the echoes of changing politics after the surgical strikes that stirred the nationalism. The leader of their own party is fighting for the rights of farmers. In the last 2.5 years Varun Gandhi helped debt-ridden farmers with the financial assistance of 18 crore. Interestingly, 1.5 crore were his own funds and 16.5 crore was collected by him as charity from local elites. In order to identify genuinely distressed farmers, he made some stringent rules. Mr. Gandhi then set up three indicators to select the crisis-hit farmers. These included farmers who had defaulted on their loan-repayment, whose crops had been destroyed in a row of three crop cycles and those who has no fixed assets.
In the sequel, 3662 farmers have been freed from debt. Varun’s team noticed that 15 per cent of farmers who were freed from debt are again in the trap. Varun decided that there should be an apposite policy.
This is why he decided to make a website that will contain details of such farmers. This site will be connected to the affluents. After touring more than 20 districts in UP Varun analysed that most of the farmers are burdened with a loan of Rs 30,000 to 1.5 lakh. These details were taken from local banks and after investigation a list of beneficiaries was prepared. Consequently, Varun rolled on his mission of providing house to the needy. Up til now, he has successfully built more than 100 such houses. Let us all wear mirrors to see our real selves. Has anyone ever seen their soul?

Few commercial benefits of some industrial giants are also intervening in escalating the clash of Yadav clan. Expert in collaborating friendship with business, SP’s prime leader Thakur wanted to allot the Lucknow-Balia highway project to his friend Subhash Chandra. Sources claim the project is estimated around 12 thousand crores. Akhilesh insisted on allotting the project through tender when Mulayam talked to him about it. Earlier Akhilesh divided the Lucknow-Agra highway project between four companies. Akhilesh also assigned the tender for a magnificent amusement park in Lucknow to celebrity Sanjay Khan’s company. On the other hand, sources connected to UP CM argue that Amar Singh wanted to give this project to Chandra’s company Essel Group.

Aam Admi Party was all set to win a majority in Punjab. But, the recent opinion polls show a 360 degree turn in its fortunes. In a news channel’s opinion poll Sanjay Singh was invited for panel discussion. He got embroiled with the anchor seeing opinion poll projection of different political parties in which AAP was shown behind Congress in Punjab. Sanjay got furious and questioned the authenticity of the poll. The anchor could not reply and Sanjay sharpened the attack by claiming that the channel had fudged the real pressure under some one’s pressure. But, how did he come to know of this? He said one of the reporters of the news channel himself has informed him that the numbers were manipulated. He also quoted figures of earlier polls done by the channel saying – the channel had showed AAP getting only 6 seats in 2013 but the party bagged 28. In 2015 the channel predicted AAP would get 24 seats but the party bagged 67 out of 70 seats at stake. This led to chaos. Sanjay Singh has already created similar ruckus on another channel on an earlier occasion.

The Uttarakhand’s CM Harish Rawat seems to be fishing in troubled waters. He is under spotlight these days due to Lord Mahadev of Kailash Parvat and Kailash Kher. As per sources, he has tasked Kher to make 12 episodes on Lord Shankar issuing a grant of Rs 12 crore. The sources however claimed, Kailash Kher has been given the entire payment from Disaster Management Fund that too when such a massive disaster occurred just three years back in Kedarnath. Just after 3 days of payment, 12 skeletons were found on way to Kedarnath. Perhaps this manifests our ignorance towards nature as well as public sentiments, despite all the show must go on.

UP CM Akhilesh Yadav shifted to a new house during Navratri. Earlier he was sharing a five-bedroom house with step brother Prateek. Each had two rooms with one room kept aside for guests. Why don’t you give it port?” The big businessman by now had a fair idea about Mukesh Ambani’s clout and power.
