As the noose of CBI and ED is tightening on Tejashwi Yadav, the restlessness of Nitish Kumar, the head of the alliance, is increasing. Reliable sources claim that the release of AAP leader Manish Sisodia from jail is possible in the month of September. But before that CBI and ED can interrogate AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal. It is said that the CBI has got a phone recording in its hands, in which the conversation is revealed that how the transaction is being discussed in exchange for the Rajya Sabha seat from Punjab. The CBI is engaged in preparations to collect some more concrete evidence.

About two weeks back, Akali leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal went and met the BJP top leadership in Parliament. It is said that in a matter of words, the top leadership said that ‘BJP and Akali Dal should once again contest elections together in Punjab.’ With this proposal, Harsimrat Badal reached her home state and narrated the entire conversation to her husband Sukhbir Badal and gave details. After this Sukhbir called a meeting of some prominent Akali leaders i.e. his core team and mentioned this offer from the BJP. The Akali leaders present in the meeting opposed this proposal in unison, saying that ‘BJP has no name-bearer in Punjab at present and if we go with them, we too may meet the same fate.’ So perhaps the matter has not made any ‘ripple’.
