All about one crore

Posted on 20 February 2012 by admin

A few days ago, respected President’s Assembly member son Rao Sahab Shekhawat’s car was frisked by Maharashtra Police and found Rs 1 crore in cash. State Police comes under R R Patil of the NCP, so it was worth seeing how quickly R R Patil tried to clear off the matter. Initially it was said someone had planted the cache of currency notes in the car. Then there was a statement that it was the party money for Maharashtra Municipal elections’ 87 poor party candidates. But no one from the Congress has confirmed the statement until now.

The sticker bomb technique is not a new one

Posted on 20 February 2012 by admin

Sticker bomb may have been used in the Indian subcontinent for the first time, but it is not a new technology for the terrorists. Two people were killed during the Munich Olympics by the same technique. These terrorists were from the Middle East and had come from Israel on a speed boat. They ran towards the apartments located in the sports village, located the two people, stuck sticker bombs on them and ran away. The blast led to the death of the two people.

Companies that have to bear the 2G brunt

Posted on 07 February 2012 by admin

Supreme Court’s Justice Ganguly, who gave such a historical verdict about the 2G issue has retired and someone else has to be elected for the post. But after the verdict, telecom companies are in a state of shock. Sources reveal that these telecom companies have decided that now that Justice Ganguly has retired, they will file a review petition in the 2G issue. The companies believe that it was the government policies that were at fault and this caused the companies all the problems. These companies also believe that if they pay the fine imposed by the court, it will have an impact on the criminal proceedings of the case. So all companies involved in the 2G issue are, for now, focusing on drafting the review petition.

The army chief may go

Posted on 24 January 2012 by admin

After having the egg on its face on the army chief’s age fiasco, the Central government wants to watch every step it takes. This is the first case in India and even in the world where a ruling army chief has taken its own defence ministry of the government to court. The Congress Core Committee’s meeting seriously discussed the matter about the army chief’s date of birth. Reliable sources have revealed that the government has almost decided that the respected President will ask the army chief to go. In any case, army chief’s working tenure is over by two years and while no army chief’s tenure is pre-decided, it is decided by the country’s president (who is the chief of all three armed forces) on how long she wants the army chief to stay on in the office. Usually, the trend is to ask him to stay on after the retirement age is achieved. But in special circumstances, the president can use her power and sanction his farewell. It is believed that the UPA government and the President have already had a talk about it, and there is merely the wait for the court’s decision standing in the way.

Why isn’t there a special session in the Parliament?

Posted on 27 December 2011 by admin

Why wasn’t a special session called for in the Parliament for Lokpal? According to constitutional custom and tradition, the first session of the New Year starts with the President’s address. Three days after the Presidential address, three days are reserved for debate. But if a special session was organised for Lokpal, what would the respected President have said? It would also have clearly reflected the government’s policies. The government, thus, considered it better to continue with the current session rather than announced a new one.

What gives Sharma ji Anand

Posted on 11 December 2011 by admin

No matter how many times Anand Sharma is included in the list of haughty ministers, he is still dear to 10, Janpath. And now that Foreign Minister S M Krishna has a sword hanging on his regarding the mining issues, Congress yuvraj Rahul Gandhi himself has been saying that Sharma should be given the foreign minister’s seat instead of Krishna. And when the king-to-be himself desires it, why will not Sharma be coronated?

The sting links

Posted on 11 December 2011 by admin

Sting operations on the Delhi municipal corporations had already happened in June but the deal-making market has only hotted up since. A Central Congress minister, well versed with political games, and another Parliamentarian from Delhi had a big role to play in the sting operation on Jayashri Panwar. On the other hand, important clues for a sting operation were given by a local BJP leader himself. He is considered the right-hand man of a Central leader.

A camp in the Congress is blaming Satpal of becoming pally with the BJP. This camp claims that to get his wife Amrita Rawat win, he has struck a behind-the-doors deal with the BJP for seats in Rudraprayag, Kedarnath, Yamkeshwar, Badrinath and Kotdwar. Maharaj’s wife Amrita may contest the elections from Chaubattakhal. She is also eying the Ramnagar seat.
