The minute poster scam started in Delhi, the Sinha camp suspected NRI businessman and Gadkari-aide Anshuman Mishra for the same. He is talking against Yashwant at present. Anshuman has written an open letter to Yashwant Sinha and made a copy of the same available to the media. The first matter discussed in the Ketan Parekh scam, which also mentions how he got a clean chit by the JPC in the same. The letter also mentions the UTI scam (that took place when Sinha was the finance minister) and his relations with Flex Industries’ Ashok Chaturvedi. The letter also asks questions about Sinha’s relations with a big chit-fund company from Lucknow. The moot question, however, is if Anshuman is trying to prove his own political relevance by attacking Sinha.

Jat Congress leader from Rajasthan Lal Chand Kataria was ousted from the defense ministry, but why? Where the matter of legal cases against ministers are concerned, he is not an exception – from Adhir Ranjan Choudhury to several new ministers, cases have been registered against a lot of them. Actually, there are several jats in the army from Western UP, Haryana and Rajasthan. At such a time, there was a chance of a spate of transfer letters, which is against the basic principles of the army. That is the reason Kataria was exited from the army at the last minute.

Feeling the heat of Coalgate, Subodhkant Sahay and Shriprakash Jaiswal may need to go from the Cabinet ministry. But the necessary evil for the Congress, Ahmed Patel and Motilal Vohra, who are busy serving the party will come out unscathed.

Industrialist K D Singh, who was once considered to be a close confidant of Mamata Banerjee, is now looking for new group of opportunities with the Congress, and away from the Trinamool. Singh is a Rajya Sabha member from Jharkhand and his business interests are more in Delhi and Punjab. And now that Didi’s connection with the Centre and Congress has broken, how will his interests at the Centre be looked after? Singh sa’ab is changing tact keeping it in mind.

Coalgate, FDI in retail, price rise in petro products…. Who does the prime minister trust the most in his core team at a time when there are new challenges facing him everyday? This is the core team to which the prime minister pays most heed – they are the eyes, nose and ears for the prime minister. These include Montek Singh Ahluwalia, TKA Nair, P Chidambaram and Pulak Chatterjee. (Kapil Sibal is no longer a part of the core team and so in the next Cabinet reshuffle, the human resources ministry may be taken away from him). The quartet has, for now, full control over PM’s heart and mind.

Pranab da has given Deepadas Munshi’s name and said that there is no representation of West Bengal Congress in the Central government. The truth is that he doesn’t consider Deepadas a threat to his son or daughter’s political career.

A BSP politician Jung Bahadur seems to be upset with Behenji nowadays. To voice his grievances, he gave a long interview to a lesser popular English daily in Delhi and gave vent to his feelings. Singh Sahab thought there was no ways Behenji will get his hands on a newspaper that is not known. However, the day the interview appeared, Singh Sahab’s doorbell rang at 7.45 in the morning and it was Behenji herself at the door asking his motives for saying the unwanted things. Now the MP didn’t know what to say.

After Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi is American media’s target. The reason is that the US is pretty upset with India that despite assurances from developed countries, the Manmohan Singh government hadn’t been able to bring retail in FDI, until last Friday, that is.
