The steeped-in-corruption government

October 19 2010

Yedurappa’s government is counted among the most corrupt in the state. A government that is formed on corruption can easily be broken, toppled and shaken. Several ministers of the state are already under the scanner for grave corruption charges. This is affecting the chief minister, too. His son and son-in-law have been charged with buying land form farmers at dirt-cheap prices and then sold them at high rates under the Change of Land Act. It is heard that after the notification, the price of five acres of land has gone up to Rs 250 crore. The readers can make an idea for themselves on the kind of money the son and the son-in-law must’ve made from this deal.
