CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury has been repeatedly accused by his partymen that he is more concerned about the Congress and the Gandhi family than his own party. At the party meeting held recently, Yechury claimed that now his only goal will be how to create a third front in the 24 elections. Kerala CM P Vijayan Interrupted and said, “You never get tired of worrying about the Gandhi family and the Congress, but don’t forget that in Kerala, we are competing with the same party. The BJP is nowhere near our competition. Yet you seem to be serving only the Congress.”

On this, Yechury restrained himself and said, “Earlier, I did not see any other option of BJP other than the Congress. Now that Nitish Kumar has kicked off the BJP, my confidence in Nitish has increased that he is the most suitable face for the Third Front.” After this, there was silence in the meeting.
