Akhilesh got a big advantage of alliance with smaller parties in this election, due to this alliance, there has been a huge jump in the vote percentage of SP. In the 2017 Assembly elections, where the total vote share of the SP was only 21.08 percent, it has increased to 32.06 percent in the 2022 UP elections.
