Ever since the talks of Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s rather effusive Muslim-love has been doing the rounds; she is seen more often at the Ramakrishna Mission in Kolkata. Insiders report that nowadays she is seen sitting at the Mission for hours at a stretch. Whereas her followers are touting this as a ‘search of inner peace’, the BJP is clear: it is a crass attempt to woo back the Hindu vote bank.
