Who is Rahul’s political guru?

Posted on 11 November 2013 by admin

Can you guess who the political guru of Congress crown prince Rahul Gandhi is? He is Singapore’s first Prime Minister Lee Kwon Yew, also known as LKY, who is also known for his generous, progressive and revolutionary ideas. Rahul goes to meet his guru regularly in Singapore. Rahul has learnt the philosophy of idealism and clean politics from him. He is serious about it and is considering how the Lee Kwon Model can be adapted to Indian administration. It is worth mentioning here that after Raphael, the credit to modernise Singapore to what it is goes to Lee Kwon. This is also the reason he is called “Father of Singapore”. Lee Kwon has been the prime minister for three terms and has been instrumental in advocating ideas. For instance, he is one of the few international leaders in the world who have advocated the rights for homosexuals. Lee Kwon studied law from Fitzwilliam College and got double first-class honours from Cambridge. He was also in London School of Economics for some time. He started his political innings from London and took care of the campaign of one of his friends in the Labour Party. He then felt he needed to do something for his own country and returned to Singapore forever. In 1954, he formed a Socialist party called People’s Action Party (PAP). Today, his son Lee Kwon’s son Lee Hsien Loong is the prime minister and has been at the helm of things since 2004. Rahul not only goes to Singapore to meet Lee Kwon, he is in constant touch with him though phone, mail and Skype and takes his guru’s opinion on every significant matter.

Modi’s new moves

Posted on 01 September 2013 by admin

Narendra Modi is looking for new political possibilities. Under the plan, he wants new partners for the BJP and the NDA. He also wants that those politicians who left the party due to some issues and had formed their own parties, should form a local coalition with the BJP. Modi has already spoken to Yeddyurappa for his Karnataka Janta Paksha. It is also almost sure that he will join the BJP after the four Assembly elections are over. A few days ago, Modi called Babulal Marandi of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha and requested him to join back. But he did not get a positive reply from Marandi. He merely said, “The question of such a possibility doesn’t arise.”

Navin’s London connection

Posted on 04 June 2012 by admin

After a long gap, Odisha’s Chief Minister Navin Patnaik went to London on vacation. The HInduja brothers held a big party for him there, where Anil Agarwal, Lord Hamid and several prominent NRIs were present. In typical desi attire Navin Patnaik arrived at the party, sporting a red scarf around his neck. A happy-looking Patnaik talked about the days he had spent in London and when he was asked who he would support for the President’s post, instead of naming Sangma, Patnaik retorted that he will support anyone who is unanimously chosen.

Modi will be BJP’s face in 2014

Posted on 16 April 2012 by admin

A section of the Sangh Parivar still has some reservations about Advani. In a broad sense, the Sangh has made up its mind that for that for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, it will support Narendra Modi as a prime ministerial candidate from the party. The Sangh wants to sugar-coat Modi’s Hindutva and development and present it as BJP’s next agenda. Sanjay Joshi has also got express instructions from the Sangh that he should clear his misunderstandings with Modi. The Sangh is also not in favour of giving importance to Modi’s opposition of Praveen Togadia and the Kisan Sangh. Somewhere along the line, Gadkari has also been clearly briefed that Modi will be the party’s face for 2014 elections.

Munda’s chair under threat

Posted on 11 April 2012 by admin

The Election Commission’s talk of getting the CBI investigate the Rajya Sabha elections in Jharkhand is leading to a lot of furrowed brows. Arjun Munda’s close confidante R K Agarwal is scared about how Rs two-and-a-half crore was found in his brother Innova. Arjun Munda is under fire, too. Agarwal’s accountant was also present during the raid and the presence of money is the biggest proof of corruption. For CBI Director A P Singh, too, it is a big test because he was once Arjun Munda’s OSD. And because of the CBI investigation, Arjun Munda’s chief ministership is also under threat.
