Sources say BJP’s new president Nitin Gadkari would form his new team by March. They tell us that Ananth Kumar, Piyush Goel, Kirit Somaiah and Sanjay Joshi would play important roles. Even otherwise, Gadkari is an old friend of Ananth Kumar and before becoming president, whenever he would come to Delhi, he would always stay in Ananth Kumar’s home. Sources say Gadkari can make Kalraj Mishra the vice-president and Ananth Kumar and Manohar Paricker party national general secretaries. Piyush Goel could become the party’s national treasurer and he could also be given a Rajya Sabha berth. The Ambani connection of both Goel and Gadkari is well known. Gadkari can give Sanjay Joshi a position of responsibility in the organisation and to provide BJP a young image, he could make the saffron scion of the Gandhi family Varun Gandhi the president of BJP Yuva Morcha.
