Will ‘Gujarat Formula’ Be BJP’s Brahmastra?

February 18 2019

BJP president Amit Shah wants to implement Modi’s Gujarat Formula in 2019 polls, and is tweaking it accordingly. Back in his CM days, Modi used to minus the tickets of outgoing legislators in assembly elections, and would instead give it to fresh faces. This worked as an extinguisher on the outburst of the people against their outgoing MLAs, and ensured better chances of the new face’s win.
So, in this changing scenario of Delhi, Amit Shah is giving clear indications that as many as 100 outgoing MPs will be losing their tickets. Shah had have conducted the field report throught his three different agencies of his choice, and prepared the report cards of each saffron MP. These report cards are the deciders in 2019.
For example, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s disciple Mahesh Giri, who is currently an MP from East Delhi, is sure to lose his ticket. But the grapevines suggest that on Guruji’s adjuration he might be given a ticket from Gujarat. Murli Manohar Joshi is willing to re-contest from Kanpur, but his seat may also changed to elsewhere. On the other hand, Kalyan Singh’s son Rajveer may be sent to Aligarh this time. Party may also give a ticket to PM’s Principal Secretary Nripendra Misra’s son. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval may either himself contest from Uttarakhand or his son might get a ticket.
