Service tax from Indian pilgrims

These days, news of atrocities on Sikh community in Pakistan is making headlines in the media. The issue of forcible conversion of Sikh women to Muslim is also on the rise, in such a situation, the meeting of Kartarpur Corridor between India and Pakistan is being considered very important. If sources are to be believed, a meeting could be held between the two countries in the next few days. Earlier, on 14 July, a similar meeting was held in Wagah, Lahore, where there was no mutual agreement between the two countries on many issues. Regarding this, a meeting between top officials of both countries was held on 4 September in Attari, India. It is now believed that in the next few days a decisive meeting may take place again in this matter. It is worth mentioning that there is talk of the Kartarpur Corridor Dera Baba Nanak Gurdwara to be built from Gurdaspur to Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Narowal, Pakistan. Darbar Sahib Kartarpur is the holy place where Guru Nanak Dev Sahib, the first Guru of the Sikhs, gave up his body. Sources reveal that Pakistan is adamant on constantly demanding service fees; it wants to charge a service fee of $20 per Indian pilgrim.
