Closeness with the Gandhi-family will tangle things up this way, Haryana’s Jat leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda would never even dreamt of it. But ever since an FIR has been lodged against him and Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, Hooda is on a lookout for a new shelter.
Sources reveal that recently Hooda called on his 15-17 closest MLAs at his Chandigarh residence and held discussions on politics in the offing. It is said that Hooda clarified in the meeting that Rahul Gandhi has given his word to project him as the CM-face in the state.
On this, a legislator reminded (read: warned) him that the Gandhi family tries avoid projecting any such faces which are undergoing with legal troubles. The legislator further suggested Hooda to be prepared with a Plan-B.
It is said that it was finally decided in the meeting that they should focus on man-to-man marking, i.e. one confidante alongside each Congress worker on every booth. It was also decided that Hooda’s confidantes, although bearing Congress flags, would also sport either a pink turban or a pink choker.
When Hooda was on his ‘Cycle Yatra’ in recent past, the political sky was surely pink.
