The cost to rebel against Modi

February 26 2018

It is a general phenomenon amongst the BJP and the Sangh Parivaar that a direct attack on the Prime Minister from within the party or the Sangh will not be tolerated. This is what VHP’s Pravin Togadia was being warned of but when he refused to understand, the Sangh dismissed his case by showing him a way out.
A similar ‘crime’ was committed by Brajesh Upadhyay of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh for which he had a to pay the cost. Ashwini Mahajan had also strolled down the same path, but suddenly he took a U-turn after the Budget, which was a boon for him.
Now when Anoop Mishra, unknowingly, walked down this path, and roared in full swing in the parliament that a government does not just run on ‘jumlas’ and that one should learn from Vajpayee, then Rao Inderjit Singh tried stopping him and asked him to sit down. To this Mishra said- “What will you teach me, you have yourself come from the Congress.”
Sources say that the Sangh has taken cognizance of this too and that Anoop Mishra, who is also a relative of Vajpayee, has been shown the mirror, and in this new age, it is not necessary that the mirror tells the truth.
