Modi government’s stern stance on Chinese donations

Posted on 26 July 2020 by admin

The central government’s stance on Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka on the issue of donations by China to the trusts controlled by the Gandhi family is stern and even BJP national president JP Nadda is also vigorously raising the issue. In view of the seriousness of the matter, the Ministry of Home Affairs has also formed an ‘Inter-Ministerial Committee’ to investigate the fund received from China. The command of the investigation committee has been handed over to the Special Director of ED Vivek R. Wadekar who is the chairman of the inquiry committee. This inquiry committee will investigate the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust and Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust for alleged violations of income tax irregularities and foreign fundraising provisions. Sources say that the central government is hurt by Rahul Gandhi’s on his tendency to continuously attack it on China and Corona. According to information from sources, the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, headed by Sonia Gandhi, received a large fund from the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Embassy in India. According to sources, this donation amount is around $ 2 million between 2004-2006 and around $ 9 million between 2006-2013. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has termed the donation as a bribe and said that this money was given by China in lieu of ‘free trade deal’ between India and China. At the same time, Congress is describing this move of the central government inspired by the action of revenge.

Sheila Kaul’s bungalow in Lucknow is being renovated for Priyanka Gandhi ever since she received official notice to vacate her Delhi’s Lodhi road government bungalow. However, Sheela Kaul’s daughter Deepa is not confirming that Priyanka is going to stay at her mother’s bungalow. Deepa Kaul lives in Ghaziabad and keeps visiting Lucknow. Sheila Kaul was Indira Gandhi’s maternal uncle’s wife and her husband -Kailashnath Kaul – has been the founder of the ‘National Botanical Research Institute’ at Lucknow, while he is considered as one of the fathers of the Green Revolution. Sheela and Kailash Kaul have three children – Deepa Kaul, Vikram Kaul and Gautam Kaul. So, the owner of this bungalow in Lucknow is Deepa Kaul. But sources reveal that when Priyanka was staying in this bungalow in Lucknow during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, she took permission from Deepa’s son Ashish, who lives in Mumbai, however, Deepa, probably was not even aware of this.

Congress’s age of revival

Posted on 26 July 2020 by admin

If Modi’s nationwide invincible image is being challenged by someone, if someone is constantly asking him questions on Corona and China, it is the pair of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. In such a situation, the Muslims of Uttar Pradesh have started feeling that only Congress can challenge Modi and Yogi. So, knowingly and unknowingly, UP’s Muslims are returning to the Congress fold, while Mayawati’s inaction in the state and her ‘pro-BJP’ tone is also benefiting the Congress. Mayawati’s Dalit vote bank is rapidly shifting to the BJP and Congress. The Dalits are not willing to go with the Yadavs, as has been observed by SP through its alliance with the BSP in the last election. Priyanka Gandhi has put a lot of effort to revive the Congress in UP and has set up committees in almost every district of UP. Lucknow is the most suitable place for her to control these efforts to revive UP Congress, so Priyanka now wants to set up her camp in Lucknow itself. At the same time, Priyanka’s eyes are also on the Brahmin votes of the state, about whom she believes that they are feeling cheated in Yogi Raj, the Brahmins feel that since the Thakurs are in the government in the state, that is why criminals like Raja Bhaiya are also untouched. In order to draw Brahmin votes from the Congress, Priyanka has put forward the face of Jitin Prasad in UP.

Yogi’s ‘stardom’ continues

Posted on 26 July 2020 by admin

The ‘fire’ of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been revived ever since gangster Vikas Dubey was killed in a police encounter. Yogi’s was reportedly severely miffed when Vikas Dubey and his henchmen killed 8 policemen and soon after the incident when UP Police DGP HC Awasthi sought time to meet the Chief Minister, the DGP was sent a message by the CM, “What is the need to meet now? Why are coming to me empty-handed? Do something and show me.” The DGP had understood the message very well, and the events after that are in front of everyone. Now an attempt is being made to probe the political connections of Vikas Dubey, but it is a bitter fact that Dubey had travelled from BJP to SP to BSP, and this time around he was fighting to contest assembly elections on BJP ticket. It is worth mentioning that in 2001, Vikas Dubey publicly murdered Santosh Shukla, Minister of State for the BJP Government, after which Mayawati’s government was formed with the help of BJP in the state, but Dubey was not touched. After this, the Mulayam Singh ousted Mayawati’s government in the state, but still, there was no decrease in Dubey’s political clout, rather he emerged stronger, which was not possible without any political patronage. In Yogi Raj, Dubey’s clout continued for 3 years and it is said that Dubey also had close relations with many officials and ministers of the Yogi government. Allegations are also being levelled against Yogi government’s Law Minister Brajesh Pathak, who used to be close to gangster Harishankar Tiwari and there was a time ‘Tada’ was imposed on Pathak. However, the Hindi saying, “Jab saiyan bhaye Kotwal, tab darr kaahe ka” seems apt here.

Doval, the troubleshooter

Posted on 26 July 2020 by admin

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has emerged as a major troubleshooter for the Modi government when the two-and-a-half-month-long negotiations with China could not be resolved even at the level of defence minister, the foreign minister, and even the general level talks were inconclusive, so it was then low-profile NSA Doval spoke with the Chinese side and lo and behold, the issue was sorted. Doval spoke to the Chinese side in a blunt manner and is believed to have told them that both India and China wants development. “You want to progress and we are also determined for this, we have to move forward on those things where there is no scope for any dispute. You are facing the US and when we do not give the market, how will you be able to compete with the US, war is not good for both the countries.”The Chinese understood this and agreed to withdraw their army. China is okay with its policy of stepping one step back to take two steps forward later. Even before this, when the Modi government was going through a period of turbulence whether it was a case of the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir or the growing heat of the Delhi riots, Doval has always played the role of a troubleshooter.

Water is tomorrow

Posted on 12 July 2020 by admin

PM Modi had set a target to provide 55 liters of clean water to every household on August 15, 2019, at a cost of Rs 3.5 lakh crore. By clean water, he meant water that was so pure that people could drink it straight from the tap. The government claims that this clean water has been delivered to one crore houses within a year. Under this scheme, a sensor had been installed in every city, village, township, wherever the water tank is installed, which will check the quality of water at all times and through 4G it will be connected to the national grid so that real-time data can be shown on the website, and thus any person can monitor the quality of water in their area. There is still a target of 12 crore houses to complete this plan, and due to the corona infection, the plan is currently stalled, and now the government has also started feeling that it will not be easy to complete this plan by the scheduled time.

Why is Chirag Paswan miffed?

Posted on 12 July 2020 by admin

LJP leader and MP from Jamui in Bihar Chirag Paswan is annoyed these days. His resentment is from both BJP and Nitish. He feels that the competition between the BJP and JDU to be the bigger power hub than other parties, and is resulting in complete ignorance of LJP. Chirag’s resentment is such that when the District President of Munger in his party made a statement that everything is going well in the NDA, the person was immediately discharged. Chirag wanted at least one of the 12 Legislative Council seats in the state to fall in his party’s kitty, but Nitish retained seven of these seats for JDU and asked Chirag to ask BJP for his quota seat. Chirag understood Nitish’s attitude. He was already annoyed with Nitish for not including at least two MLAs from his party into his cabinet, however, the Bihar CM did not budge.

How to control the arbitrariness of private hospitals

Posted on 12 July 2020 by admin

The rate at which corona cases are increasing in Delhi, a tussle has been witnessed for beds for the patients. The Delhi government had information that those private hospitals authorized to treat Corona, are undertaking their money-making venture with it. They are shifting more and more patients to their private wards and when asked by the government, they give an incorrect number of beds, while also making a mistake in stating the number of ventilators. When the matter was reported to the Delhi government, the government found a unique way to deal with this situation. In 114 such private hospitals, the Delhi government has put its people at the rate of 2 nursing staff per hospital and they were named as the Liaison Officer. The task of these liaison officers was to find out the ground reality of these private hospitals, so that they know the exact number of empty beds, and how many ventilators are available. They were also to find the amount charged from patients from the time they are admitted till their discharge and to see whether or not they are in line with the Supreme Court’s directions. On Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia spoke to all their Liaison Officers through the Zoom App and heard about their issues.
