JDU towards possible ruckus

Posted on 17 August 2019 by admin

Everything is not going smooth in Nitish Kumar’s JDU. Like Congress, the voices of discontent are emerging against the top leadership. The latest case is about the scrapping of Article 370 from Kashmir; Nitish Kumar’s close aid and Rajya Sabha MP RCP Singh was earlier seen standing by the said of his leader on this issue. But for the last few days, he seems to have taken a U-turn and is now supporting the removal of the Article 370. While Nitish’s other Rajya Sabha MP KC Tyagi and Lok Sabha MP Lallan Singh are waking up to protest against the removal of Article 370. If sources are to be believed, Prashant Kishore is being told to be behind this changed attitude of RCP. PK and RCP have always had a tussle between them. PK is still said to have good relations with PM Modi. These days a big change can be seen in the relationship between RCP and PK – it is getting a bit sweeter. Sources say, it was PK who got the PM to talk to RCP which led to the change of the stand of the RCP on Article 370. It is said that Shah had already entrusted the task of managing Rajya Sabha MPs to Piyush Goyal and Bhupendra Yadav; both were already working towards it. The proximity of JDU MP and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh with the BJP is not hidden, so Nitish has decided that this time he will not send Harivansh again to Rajya Sabha.

When PM lauded Vijay Goel

Posted on 17 August 2019 by admin

With the approaching elections in Delhi, there is increased competition between Delhi’s old BJP leader Vijay Goel and BJP Delhi President Manoj Tiwari to lead the saffron leadership in the capital.
Recently, while addressing the workshop in the Parliament House, PM Modi himself was all gaga for Goel. PM said that ‘Vijay Goel works very innovatively, new MPs should learn from him.’ On the other hand, Manoj Tiwari seems to be a frontrunner in the race for Delhi CM. He is also a darling of Shah. Today the situation is that there is a competition between Goel and Tiwari to bring AAP and Congress leaders to BJP. Nevertheless, on the basis of his media management, Goel is way better than Tiwari.

Sushma Swaraj’s rich legacy

Posted on 17 August 2019 by admin

August 9 witnessed a huge crowd at Dr Ambedkar International Center at 15 Janpath, New Delhi. It was the emotional ‘Uthawani’ of late Sushma Swaraj, who touched several lives via her twitter handle and was regarded as a shining comet in Indian politics. The hall failed to accommodate the large gathering, as a result, several people were observed paying their last respects on the screen outside the hall. Despite being a private family event, the senior leaders, foreign diplomats and ministers were seen pouring in for last respect. Within no time, several VIPs reached the hall which led to shortage of chairs in the front rows, and Shahnawaz Hussain vacated his chair for Ranjan Bhattacharya.
BJP leaders Manoj Tiwari, Nishikant Dubey were seen standing near the main gate, while Shabana Azmi appeared quite emotional. Despite ill health, Murali Manohar Joshi also marked his tribute. EAM S Jaishankar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Dr Harsh Vardhan, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and BJP Working President JP Nadda were also seen. Vijay Goel and Manoj Tiwari were seen receiving the people at the gate, while the entire task of management was handled by Sudhanshu Mittal. Everyone knows that Sushma ji was one of the devote worshipers of Lord Krishna, hence ‘Jai Radha Madhav, Jai Kunj Bihari Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna Hare Hare’ tune was played on the landline of Sushma Ji’s house, which shows her immense belief in Lord Krishna.
Sushma’s favourite colour was blue and the favourite numeral- number 8, as a result be it home or car ‘8’ ruled everywhere. Her affection for Krishna can be gauged from the fact that even before kidney transplant, Sushma once said that ‘it’s all up to Krishna now; he’s the best decider for me’. The atmosphere became very emotional when the Manchasin singer troupe started singing Sushma ji’s favourite bhajan, listening to the same, her husband Swaraj Kaushal and daughter Bansuri Swaraj broke down. Bansuri came on the stage for a very brief address and said that her mother roared like a lioness in the Parliament, but she used to laugh like 5-year-old. With her notable Hindi vocabulary and wonderful selection of words, she proved that she is the true authority of her mother’s glorious heritage.

Conflict in Congress on 370

Posted on 17 August 2019 by admin

At the meeting of the Congress Working Committee convened in New Delhi, Jitin Prasad questioned contradictory statements of Congress leaders that are coming out regarding Section 370, and said this is creating confusion among people. On this statement, Ghulam Nabi Azad said to Jitin, “Party leaders may have their own opinion about this, but as far as the party line is concerned, Congress is against the removal of Article 370 in Kashmir.” Hearing this, UP Congress leader RPN Singh stood up and said that people in UP are in favour of the scrapping of Article 370. P Chidambaram interrupted Singh and said, “UP is not India, Congress is a National Party” (ie UP is not the whole of India, don’t forget that Congress is a national party). However, there is a clear rift within the Congress Party. Most of young leaders of the party are in favour of the removal of Article 370, but the senior leaders of the party have some other views.
