To remember or not to remember

Posted on 14 July 2019 by admin

Arun jaitley is credited with making Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman a stalwart in saffron politics. So the day new Finance Minister took office and reached the room, she folded her hands in Namaste to greet her guru Arun Jaitley’s chair and sat on a nearby sofa. It was when an officer close to Jaitley requested her to sit on the chair, Sitharaman reluctantly sat on it. But when she gave her speech in Parliament as Finance Minister, there was no mention of Jaitley. Not only the Finance Minister, around forty MPs took part in the discussion on budget of which several of BJP MPs also took part but only Naresh Gujral of Shiromani Akali Dal remembered his close friend Jaitley and said that he would like to remember Jaitley who was the Finance Minister in the first term and worked to bring the economy back on track. At least jaitley’s relevance is still maintained in the supporting parties, if not with his own party leaders.

AAP: Changing people and tactics

Posted on 14 July 2019 by admin

Since assembly elections are round the corner in Delhi, the two pillars of Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodiya, have started changing their people and tactics. Keeping aside the old faithful emphasis given to new faces and new ideas. Manish Sisodiya started the drive when he brought with him Vikram Bhatt – the director of a Bangalore based NGO. Bhatt resigned from his position at the NGO and came along with Sisodiya. After this, Kejriwal sidelined his long time media manager Nagendra Sharma. Kejriwal somehow thinks that Sharma is unable to save Kejriwal in the media against attacks by BJP. So now he has appointed Jasmin Shah as his media adviser who has been associated with AAP since the times of Delhi dialogue and also as the vice-president of development commission. Jasmin has studied from IIT Madras and Columbia University and thus has started working on an aggressive strategy to take on the saffron party.

Scribes favourites Mimi and Nusrat

Posted on 14 July 2019 by admin

When two Bangla actresses, Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty reached Parliament, a frenzy erupted amongst electronic and print media to capture that moment. Dozens of journalists resulted in a state of mayhem and sources reveal that in this commotion, the actresses were slightly frisked. It is being said that a complaint in the matter was issued to the LS speaker. Mimi later tweeted that no complaint has been made. It is also being said that the Speakergave instructions to act in the matter and in a haste LS took out a circular for media wherein it was mentioned that the cameras have to be installed and photographers have to stand to take pictures. Before the circular could be brought out and sent to media houses, it was leaked in the media after which scribes made a huge hue and cry upon which they were pacified that there is nothing new in the circular and rules are over a decade old. But now the media has understood that time has changed and they should face the facts.

Sitharaman changes path with scribes

Posted on 14 July 2019 by admin

The journalists covering the former finance ministry are in a state of shock. Former Finance Minister under the Modi government, Arun Jaitley always had cordial relations with journalists so under Jaitley, journalist were free to roam around in the North block of Parliament. When times changed, and new Finance Minister found that few journalists keep occupying corridor area without any work. Moreover, a few journalists even occupy the places near the washroomand when any official would reach the washroom, the journalists would try to get some news or info out from the officer, and interestingly, sources reveal that Sitharaman picked up the issue in front of the Prime Minister and after a “go ahead” from the PM, a proper sitting area, with air-conditioner and cold water machine, was made near the main gate for the scribes, however, this did not cool down the journalists. Sources reveal that journalists wanted to talk to the Finance Minister to find out the reason behind such a behaviour, but look at their luck, the new Finance Minister changed her path. Now she uses the back gate of the Parliament, which at one time, was used by Advani and even Sonia Gandhi. Meanwhile, the hide and seek between finance minister and journalists is continuing.

It is being said that Kerala MP Remya Haridas became emotional while speaking and said that they had come to politics after getting inspired from Rahul Gandhi and they found hopes only from Rahul and he was leaving. It is said that Rahul assured her that he was not going anywhere and that he had worked hard day and night for the party but he got stained due to many senior leaders. It should be told that Rahul indicated that the major and important decisions will now be taken by core committee and the responsibility of success and failure will be borne by the core committee only. He is also said to have indicated to his trusted MPs that whenever party won under his leadership, the credit was taken by senior leaders but in case of defeat, the blame was put on him.

whatever one may feel

Posted on 08 July 2019 by admin

Not everything is going on right with Shivsena which had unfurled the flag of victory with help of BJP in Maharashtra. The voices of dissent are rising in Sena . Recent episode relates to election of leader of the party in Lok Sabha when the first time MP Vinayak Raut was declared as the leader and 5 time MP Bhawna Gavli Patil was left who is MP from Yavatmal Vasim in Vidarbha. If sources are to be believed then, Bhavna has said somewhere that she believed that party’s remote control (Uddhav Thackrey) was in Mumbai but it seems that the battery of the remote had got weakened. As soon as the news of her disappointment reached Uddhav Thackrey, he called her up on telephone and said that party thought about her and she would be surely given a place in the expansion of council of minister of central government from quota of the party. Bhawna knows that this is a good excuse otherwise when does Modi expands his council of ministers so soon and even if he does then what is the guarantee that Shiv Sena finds place in it. She is curing the time when she had refused the BJP’s offer of ticket in these elections.

Why Bhagwat was forced to come on twitter.

Posted on 08 July 2019 by admin

Though Sangh has entered its 95th year but it has no wrinkles of its age on the face , it is in fact working to present a new face.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is working towards this and is working to give the organization a progressive and youthful face in coming days.

Trusted sources from Sangh inform that Bhagwat has many times while making speeches said that youth have become disenchanted from shakahas”. Therefore how the thinking of Sangh becomes polished, modern and scientific , Bhagwat has already spken his thoughs about this.

Sangh had misconception about social media specially twitter and facebook but when Bhagwat felt that without getting associated with social media it cannot get connected with youth then one fine day he suddenly decided to come on twitter along with his 6 associates. Instantly he reached to the level of more than 12 thousand followers. Along with Bhagwat, Sangh ideologues like Bhaiyaji Joshi, Krishna Gopal and Suresh Saini also opened their accounts on twitter. Though the official handle of Sangh was already there but Bhagwat had always been suspicious of presence and use of social media . He had even raised his disagreement about growing culture of social media while speaking before editors of sangh ‘s Panchyajanya and organizer.

As per Bhagwat, social media was encouraging the selfish thought of “I , me and Myself”. The people were trying to impose their own thoughts on others . But it now seems that Sangh Chief has to now accept the growing power of internet revolution. There are more than 13 lakh followers on Sangh;’s twitter handle and more than 53 lakh likes on its facebook page.

At a time when more than 32 crore people across the country are making use of twitter every month, How can Sangh cannot take risk of ignoring it.

On the next day it was the 22ndfoundation day of the party but Tejashwi was not present there, Lalu had wanted to come but did not got bail . The only family member present was Rabri devi who along with associates of the party Raghuvansh Prasad Singh Shivanand Tiwari Ramchandra Purv, Alok Mehta and others lighted the lamp in the party headquarters. Thereafter a cake was also cut. After the cake cutting a big drama unfolded and Lalu’s elder son Tejpratap dressed as Lord Shiv with similar hair and a trishul in hand appeared.
