What Opposition Learn From BJP

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

THE opposition should revisit the moves that ensured BJP a huge victory. After the mega win, the saffron party is now planning on honouring those Panna Pramukhs who worked hard to take the Modi brand to each household of the nation. BJP strategists had handed their booth managers a 24-point Action Plan and they were told to get friendlier with the heads of the temples, mutt and ashrams in their regions. In this task they received equal support of RSS workers. Party had asked its workforce to work on the ground level. For this they were asked to use only traditional methods, such as meeting with people, chit-chatting, boasting of the policies of the Modi government as well as igniting a feeling of nationalism in them. The PM was himself boosting the confidence of the workforce via his NaMo app, on which over 1 crore BJP workers were directly connected. The best part was these dedicated workers could directly approach Modi. This entire process was being prepped from past 2 years. The RSS workers were equally participating in it. So now the RSS is seeing the mega victory of Modi as the repullulation of a new India. RSS’s Manmohan Vaidya,in fact, called this a victory of Hindu lifestyle and ideology. He said this election was a fight between Hindu ideology and those who want to divide the nation, in which India won.

Oath Ceremony Of New Traditions

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

POLITICAL traditions were broken for the first time with the oath ceremony of Modi Sarkar 2.0. New traditions took shape in this ceremony, such as the families of Bengal victims were sent invitations to the ceremony. Families of Pulwama martyrs were also invited. However, the media had difficulties reaching out to the families of the Pulwama martyrs in the huge gathering. Of the 10 families, 8 were from Bengal, one of the Pulwama martyr’s families was too came from there only. These families were stationed at the guest house of the Kali Bari temple in Delhi. Some were even staying at a five-star hotel in Connaught Place. The responsibility of ensuring their arrangements was taken up by a minister of the BJP who has lost the elections this time.

Mamata’s Brainstorming

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

Recently a victim of the saffron casualty, Mamata Banerjee now wants to live attached with ground reality. A few days back she held a discussion with the TMC leaders over the party’s downfalling graph and rise of BJP in West Bengal. Three main points were jotted down after this discussion, in which, first being communal polarisation. For this Mamata suggested that Bengali pride be brought to the front, i.e. for each chant of ‘Jai Shree Ram’ the counter should be ‘Jai Bangla’. The second point was a first time realisation for Mamata, i.e the hooliganism of the TMC workers. She admitted that CPM’s hooligans have joined her party. So she said that extortion should be stopped immediately. This is the reason why party has come down to this today. She even clarified it to the police and administration that they can deal with these hooligans in the manner they want, she won’t intervene. Third point was that the state government has failed in making the public notice its good works. For this, the cadre should help her. Didi’s thoughts are great, but a little too late, especially when the party has almost sunk.

Where Was Saugat Lost?

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

TMC convened a meeting of its parliamentary party which lasted for almost 2 hours. This meeting was for discussing as to who will be party leader, deputy leader and chief whip in the 17th Lok Sabha. Sudip Bandopadhyay has been stamped as the party leader with general consensus. Then Kalyan Banerjee’s name came to the front as the deputy leader. At the same time Kalyan stood up and urged Mamata that he has already been the chief whip once, and be given the same responsibility again. Then came the name of Dr Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar for deputy leader. While the process was still underway when suddenly Didi thought as to where is Saugata Roy. In a meeting like this the silence of usually vocal Saugata caught Didi’s attention. Everyone’s attention then went towards Saugata who was busy conversing with first-time parliamentarians and Bengali actresses Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty.

Jagan’s Sister vs Naidu’s Army

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

LIKE Priyanka Gandhi, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister YS Sharmila too stood by her brother during the entire election. But Sharmila is different from Priyanka in a sense that she does not like limelight. She kept supporting Jagan’s campaign from background itself. Sharmila had also handled Jagan’s entire social media. Their social media was recklessly attacking Chandrababu Naidu. Using the popular Chinese apps like TikTok, Hola and ShareIt, they created a stir in the Naidu camp. When Jagan went on his ‘pada yatras’, Sharmila would have shot campaign films and posted on social media, with songs in the background. Sharmila’s ‘Bye By Babu’ slogan for Naidu was also a hit. On the other hand, Naidu’s digital army launched personal attacks on Sharmila, sometimes even crossing the line by raising questions on her character. This probably did not go well with the people of Andhra Pradesh, and they showed Chandrababu the exit door.

Who Will Be Next BJP President?

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

NOW the current national president of BJP graces the Modi Cabinet 2.0, who will take up his spot? This important question is making rounds in the saffron corridors these days. If you talk to the RSS, then their first choice is Nitin Gadkari who is one of their most trusted people. But Modi-Shah duo hardly comes to terms with Gadkari’s name. This is probably the reason why three more new names have emerged in this race. These are JP Nadda, Kailash Vijayvargiya and Gujarat’s Gordhan Zadafia. JP Nadda’s name is at the top of the acceptance list in a way that neither Modi-Shah nor the RSS has any objections. Gordhan Zadafia is a surprising recommendation, though it could have only been lobbied by Modi. Zadafia is among Modi’s close friends and in this election the latter contested from Uttar Pradesh on the former’s recommendation and performed brilliantly. If Amit Shah is to choose his successor then it is between JP Nadda and Kailash Vijayvargiya. Nadda did splendid job in UP whereas Vijayvargiya created havoc for Mamata and her TMC in Bengal. Vijayvargiya is much focused and works in an aggressive manner, a strategy which Shah finds the best.

…और अंत में

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

IF one compares with 2014, this time Congress had an edge over the BJP in the election campaigns. According to sources, the party had even spent much less than the saffron party, yet its campaigns were a hit. The party’s publicity committee gives its credit to strategist and treasurer Ahmed Patel. Veteran like Anand Sharma, Sam Pitroda, Jairam Ramesh, Rajiv Shukla, Nikhil Alva and Gujarat Congress social media head Rohan Gupta were on this committee. But all the crucial decisions for the campaigns were taken by Patel. Contrary to the tradition of Congress, before handing over the campaign to any agency, Patel had them give presentations. He even did heavy bargaining with their costs. When he found any campaign suitable, it was sent straight to Rahul and Priyanka. Only after Priyanka gave a go ahead, Patel would take it forward. It is some art to be learnt from Patel that how to shape up an effective, yet pocket-friendly, campaign.

The Phone Never Rung For Anupriya

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

AMIT Shah seems to have not forgotten all the pain he had to go through whilst his attempts to keep Apna Dal attached with the NDA, all the tantrums he had to take of Anupriya Patel. So post victory when Anupriya Patel met Shah for her portfolio, he offered her a post of a state minister. If sources are to be believed, Patel was adamant that she was given the same in NDA-1, now she demands a promotion. On this Shah replied, ‘fine you will receive a phone call.’ But her phone never rung. She kept waiting for Shah’s call, but he didn’t dial. After this Patel’s husband was seen telling a reporter on a news channel that if Anupriya is not made a minister, she will not attend the oath taking ceremony…. before he could even finish his sentence, Patel was shown live making an entry at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, proceeding towards the gathering to witness the oath of Modi Sarkar 2.0.

The Real Shah-en-Shah

Posted on 04 June 2019 by admin

AMIT Shah not only walked shoulder-to-shoulder with Modi in the mega election of 2019, but even post the grand victory he played a key role in the selection of the ministers and distributions of their portfolios. Due to his health complications Arun Jaitley could not be included in the Cabinet. PM himself met with Jaitley, tried convincing him, but it didn’t work. RSS wanted a big role for Amit Shah in Modi Sarkar 2.0. Shah was inclined towards the Finance Ministry, but the RSS was of the view that currently the nation needs a strong and decision-making Home Minister. A Home Minister who can make the matters like Article 370, Article 35A, Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits and Ram Janmabhoomi meet their fate. If sources are to be believed, a message was sent from RSS chief to the PM that he wants to see Shah either as the Deputy PM or the Home Minister. It is said that it was the RSS that convinced Rajnath Singh to give up his claim for the Home Ministry. And so Singh instead made a move for the Defence Ministry.
