Saffron invite to Shukla

Posted on 19 March 2018 by admin

Rajeev Shukla was busy chit-chatting with some of his friends in the Central Hall that suddenly BJP President Amit Shah appeared beside him. Seeing Shah coming to him, a surprised Shukla immediately stood up and greeted him.
Shah then said to Shukla, “You are leisurely sitting here, don’t you have to leave for Gujarat?”
By then, Shukla was not aware at all of the fact that the party may send him to Gujarat at the very last moment, right before the closing of the nomination, because the Congress candidature for Gujarat was still not clear on papers. But the party had yet not informed him about him being considered a substitute candidate.
Shah quipped with Shukla: “Tell us if I should arrange a chartered plane for you on my behalf.” Shukla thought that the party president was in a funny mood, but later it turned out to be true and the subsequent developments are known to all that due to the constructions work, the Ahmedabad airport was closed till 7 pm, when Shukla’s Delhi-Ahmedabad flight was scheduled to land there.
Sources reveal that Shukla actually sought a ticket from Bihar, but BJP was in favour of ally JDU’s Meira Kumar, while the Bihar Congress sought a local candidate. That is why Shukla’s name was struck down from Bihar.
It is now being heard that Arun Jaitley, an integral friend of Shukla, has suggested him to join BJP. Everyone knows about Shukla that he is a master of politics, who can sense the changing colors of the politics and also identify the double faces.

Kejriwal’s homecoming

Posted on 19 March 2018 by admin

Arvind Kejriwal’s stars are seemingly diminishing. Even after so much effort, the pain of being the chief minister of only half the state is something that is eating him alive. Apology by Majithia has become a big political issue. A rebellion has sparked from within the party.
So, while telling of his anguish to the close aides, Kejriwal has expressed his desire that now he wants to become the Chief Minister of Haryana. Haryana is not only his home state, but there are also a considerable number of native voters.
On March 25, Kejriwal is going to stage a big rally in Haryana. In order to make this rally a huge success, Haryana AAP chief Naveen Jai Hind and recently appointed Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Gupta are leaving no stone unturned. To gather more and more people for the rally, the party workers are handing out invites in form of auspicious yellow rice. The original proclamation of the rally too is: “The homecoming of son.”

Who wants to defame to Yogi

Posted on 19 March 2018 by admin

Recent repercussions of the Uttar Pradesh elections have made the condition of the BJP as though silence has set foot into once cheerful ally of the party. But there lay many unanswered questions entangled to the saffron politics, whose identification is necessary.
Trusted sources say that before the BJPs top leadership was already tipped by an intelligence report that the political scenario may switch courts in Gorakhpur, yet neither of the BJP’s top men – Modi and Shah – bother to campaign in the region prior to the polls. In a way, they assumed the victory or defeat in Gorakhpur lies with Yogi’s political influence and power. In any case Yogi is well renowned for his differential political tactics.
However, these days, he was conducting the honor of a disciplined soldier of the BJP. At the same time, the BJP top leadership was somehow busy favouring its low-profile chief ministers like Manohar Lal Khattar, Raghubar Das, Trivendra Rawat.
There are also questions revolving around the role of the RSS in these by-elections of UP as to whether the RSS does not accept Yogi as its suitable representative. Otherwise, what was the reason that before the elections, when Dattatreya Hosabale had reached Lucknow before the by polls, he called upon the RSS cadets, in the presence of Yogi and his deputy Keshav Prasad Maurya, to concentrate on the preparations for the 2019 elections, more than the state by polls. In this meeting, UP BJP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey and in-charge Sunil Bansal were also present.
Sources say that Yogi has mentioned several times before to his close aides that he is not receiving the true support from state’s bureaucracy in his governance. In fact, he is of the belief that since many of his officers has a direct contact into the PMO; they prefer to take instructions from there only.
Is it possible that this being the reason why Yogi transferred 37 of his IAS officers here, there? At the same time, BJP’s top leadership finds lack in Yogi’s ‘coordination and communication’.
It’s all a matter of changing tides. In Tripura, Yogi was the star campaigner of the party, but now his glow has been dimmed by own party people.

Dinesh eyes Yogi’s chair

Posted on 19 March 2018 by admin

Now the important question that arises is how did Yogi’s own bastion drowned down the political mud? Sources reveal that Yogi had proposed three potential candidates to party president, and all three had their association with Gorakhnath Mutt. But the ticket was finally awarded to Upendra Shukla, which was seen as an anti-Yogi-choice, since Shukla is said to be close to Yogi’s well-known opponent and union minister Shiv Pratap Shukla. It is probable that Yogi was hence unable to take down the candidature well.
There are whispers in the corridor that after the defeats on Gorakhpur and Phulpur seats, the ‘moral authority’ of the Yogi rule has ended. So now people are internally pushing forward the name of an other deputy CM Dinesh Sharma, whose characteristics correspond to that of Khattar, Rawat or Das to a great extent.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, who had already submitted his claim to the CM post, is himself in the midst of the ‘moral authority’ grounds. He has been heard covering up the defeat by telling his supporters that in Phulpur, the party made a mistake in its candidature. Had his wife contested, the election could have been different today.

Father-son row erupts, again!

Posted on 12 March 2018 by admin

This Holi when the entire Yadav clan gathered, then ‘Netaji’ (Mulayam Singh Yadav) took up the mediation spot between Akhilesh and Shivpal. Father Mulayam very softly proposed to his son Akhilesh that why not send-off Shivpal to Delhi in the Rajya Sabha this time, this way he will be their ‘Point Man’ in Delhi and will also coordinate with the other parties. The father wanted that UP politics for the son should be slightly thorn-free, at least the prevailing resistance within the family is tuned-down. Shivpal was also in favour of these terms, but Akhilesh did not agree. Instead, he said to his father, “I know why people are trying to do this. You want to take Delhi away from uncle Ramgopal.” On hearing this, Mulayam’s heart broke and so did his dialogue flow. Mulayam said, “You are more concerned about your uncle Ramgopal than me. I throned you as the CM but your preference lies with him?” With this ‘Netaji’ has silenced himself in the midst of the uncomfortable sprawling relationship which may continue with further tensions in the family.

No pleasing RSS over Ramlal

Posted on 12 March 2018 by admin

Dattatreya Hosbole is busy these days in improving the harmony between the Sangh and the BJP, but the only setback in his attempts is that the person with whom he is in most terms is Narendra Modi himself. Hosbole has always argued in the favor of Modi and always advocates to give him freehand.
Now, the fate of the bridge-man between Sangh and BJP, Ramlal, is going to be decided soon. To fill Ramlal’s vacancy, Hosbole proposes Sunil Ambekar, a young face who is the national organisation secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad on behalf of the Sangh.
But the Sangh considers this BJP youth front as yet another imposing organisation, about which the RSS has the impression that the Yuva Morcha is just a decorative organisation, and at the grassroots it has no special effect. ABVP does the most work among students and youth.
As a solution to this, a suggestion came from BJP’s side that why not then merge the Yuva Morcha and ABVP? The RSS does not endorse this opinion, too. The Sangh thinks that both fronts should individually perform their respective duties.

Happy B’day Nitish!

Posted on 12 March 2018 by admin

March 1 was the birthday of Nitish Kumar. A lot of birthday wishes were tweeted on his profile. On behalf of BJP, many big leaders including Modi and Jaitley tweeted their greetings for him. Various chief ministers of BJP-ruled states, such as Fadnavis, Raje and Sonowal, also tweeted the birthday greetings to Nitish. But no congratulatory message from key friend Mamata reached the birthday boy.
As a coincidence, March 1 also marked the birthdays of DMK leader Stalin and former West Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya. Though Mamta did tweet some birthday greetings, but those were for Buddhadeb and Stalin and not Nitish. Rahul Gandhi also tweeted birthday wishes for Stalin, but he also gave Nitish a miss.

The falling apart of NDA

Posted on 12 March 2018 by admin

The NDA alliance has started falling apart. TDP may not have left the NDA but has definitely parted from its government. Shiv Sena too seems to be speaking the words of the Opposition, both inside and outside of the Parliament.
The freshest of the rebels is Chirag Paswan, son of Ramvilas Paswan, who has already started preparing for the 2019 elections. Chirag feels that the BJP intends to leave very few seats for the Janashakti Party, and thus has changed his attitude towards the party.
Om Prakash in UP is all set to part from the NDA, while in Bihar, Upendra Kushwaha has also changed his stance. Sources reveal that Kushwaha has had talks with RJD chief Lalu who has agreed to leave 40 seats in the assembly for Kushwaha.
What Shah has in his court to save NDA from this disintegrate, will only be revealed once he’s out of the celebration phase in Tripura.
